This was on our local news It seems Prince has a crew monitoring youtube and threatens everybody with copyright crap They told this gal she has to remove it She is going to sue Princes record company.. This is petty.. The music is barely audible.
She had about 30 hits After Prince got involved she has 130,000..

Boy Prince must have too much time on his hands. The song is barely identifiable as one of his songs. He needs to get a life. Sheesh! :O

what's even sadder is another of her videos has a very clear version of the Bee Gee's song playing... and it's been on youtube for two years!!! she's not heard a peep outta their management! And they've been pretty serious in the past going after copyright infringement.

This video CLEARLY falls under fair use! What a dork!

Prince was probably tired of watching soap operas all day and needed to stir something up. There's nothing more sad than an aging Prince.  :need hug:

Prince seems to be unusually sensitive about the use of his songs.  Weird Al Yankovic says that when he does his parody songs they always ask the original artist for permission first, even though their consent is not legally required.  He said Prince is the one artist who consistently refused permission to use his songs.
