Im looking at moving up from my JBL eon G2 and have been looking at the JBL MRX 515 speakers. Has anyone used these and if so are they worth the money?

This is their mid grade line between the JRX & SRx series.  They are a great cabinet with proper power behind them (as with any speaker).  These would need an amp that is capable of pushing 800 watts per side @ 8 ohms.  Sound incredible with a good sub under them as well.

Moving from the EON G2, if you like the powered series, seriously check into their new PRX line.  Here is a link to their new 2 way & 3 way series.

The prices are per pair btw, they do sell them individually as well.

I love the PRX line Im just worried about the mobility issue. With Karaoke, DJ, Wedding gigs would they be to cumbersome?  :)

Cumbersome in what respect?  They weigh a little more (About 30 lb) over the the MRX & may be what you are referring to?  But then again, you have to figure in your separate amp (unless you have a good powered mixer, but haven't seen one to date with enough power to drive these to their fullest capability).  The amp would need to be racked as well & unless you spend some bucks for the high power/low weight amps that are out (QSC PLX, Crown XTi series for example), you may be carrying more weight in the amp & rack as well.

Yes I was referring to the weight sorry, the biggest issue is getting them off the floor because if Im not mistaken the can not be put up on stands. Would they be very effective sitting on the floor? Thanks

Actually they are stand mountable.  They won't generally put pole mounts on the bottom of non-standable cabs.

Cool, If thats the case they would be great. You say the sound is superior to the Eon G2? Would I need a sub? If so which one would you recommend? Thanks  :D

IMO they sound quite a bit better than the EON's, but that's always subjective to the listener as you well know.
As far as subs, depends on the size of the room, I will always try to use at least one, but you may find you don't need it.  If so, the matching PRX series sub would be ideal choice.
