Can anyone explain in a reasonable, sane, logical way, how on God's green earth did Al Gore and his environmentalist buddies wone the Nobel Peace Prize? what war did they avert? Where or how did they make peace happen? One would think if they won any prize it would be for science (unless the Nobel people don't recognize it as science) |

I agree... when I saw he was a co-winner, I immediately thought "oh, he wants that to be president!" It's "west wing" all over again... the funny part about it is, a federal judge that was questioned about it said that the movie should be classified as research media bordering on fiction, as there are so many errors in the movie to never take it as fact! But there are people who do, and evidently DID! |

Short answer: NO. Although as I recall he does have good company with Jimmy Carter, and Arafat - So that kind of tells you what this is all about nowadays. This prize is rapidly losing any real meaning IMO. |

Bill Clinton lectured at a nearby college, and he told the students to look at global warming as a way to make money......can he be that stupid.....he just stated the reason why he, Gore, and people like them, started the movement against a natural phenomena, that has occurred thousands of times during the 4.5 billion years of earth's existence. Based on 100 years of records, of which I'd bet, maybe 25 are sorta accurate.... ....placed over 4.5 billion years makes for a very meager fraction.......see those great lakes......well, in relation to the age of the planet(not you Bill... )....wasn't long ago, they were glaciers.......... |
