I specialize in weddings and I of course have a good system for what I do, but I'm looking to create a back up system slash Karaoke system, to do Karaoke during week nights. This will also play as a back up for my main dj system. Right now I have  a Pioneer Stealth CDJ, and two Sennheiser wireless. Now, what I'm looking for is a mixer that can handle both, Karaoke and CDJ.I don't need a Karaoke player because I'm using a laptop program. I spoke with a rep today from Vocopro and he recomended the KJ 7808RV. Does anyone use this board? and if so I would apreciate your feed back. I would also apreciate any recomondations on a mixer or effects board that is able to be mounted on a rack for this system. Thank you for your time. :D

Any mixer will handle the output of a DAC or CDJ (not sure CDJ might req phono input). I personally havnt had any experince with vocopro mixers but here is a rack mount mixer with the Dj cross fader and all inputs you need.. link

You will have to run external Fx and most are 1 unit rack mount. Normally you run parallel with a send and return Im not sure how I would set that system I would prpbally modify the mixer One possibility is routing the external proc back thru one of the stereo line inputsBut not sure how without modding the mixer.

Run away from anything VocoPro.

Look at Yamaha or Mackie Mixers.
