I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for a Halloween poster advertising a bar party. I wanted to do something clever besides the obvious.

LMAO Thanks for the ideas guys. LMAO  I'm going to put together a poster and possibly post it here so you guys can critique it. Maybe that is  a better way to go.

Well, I'd give you some idears, but I don't KJ, nor do I run a bar. If ever I have a get together, I email or call everyone and it's a simple "my house, 8 o'clock friday, BYOB"..... and they show up:)

Maybe if you do post your add, people will get ideas and suggestions by looking at it. I think that would be one of the funnest things about being a KJ- getting to decorate for holidays. ('specially christmas) I'm twisting my boss' arm to let me deck out the office for christmas. I think (finally) he's agreed to let me have my way;)

I'll watch for your pic to be posted here.
(not that I'm full of ideas, but ya never know)

Thank you for trying to help Blue!

This is what I ended up with.

I admit I don't like my wording, but couldn't come up with anything better.

I'll make you one Isis. Just tell me what wording you want changed. Then I can try and email it to you.

Why does the house have a thought bubble coming out of it?

I'd change the wording to "costume contest with prizes for every costume"

Is there a karaoke contest with prizes as well?  If not, I don't think you should have the word "prizes" right underneath it.  And if so, you should make it clearer.

What is the free stuff?  I think you should be a little more specific - free candy?  free drinks?  free promo stuff from the beer companies?  free handjobs after midnight?

The owner told me he would give out a prize to every costume. He didn't specify what it was. I'm hoping a free drink.

Plus we will do a costume contest. Last year it was $125 for 1st place, $75 for 2nd, and $50 for third place.

He will probably get junk from the venders to give out or raffle off.

Part of my problem is I can't be specific because the bar owner tends to change his mind a lot or forget what he's promised. I'm not going to get myself in a bind because he is that way. Like I said I didn't like how I worded it, but I couldn't find a better way. Any ideas are welcome.

This isn't a strip joint! What kind of girl do you think the bar owner is?  LMAO
