Hello everyone. I've attached a free Karaoke that I made. It's 100% done by myself. I hope you enjoy it. All I ask is that you give me credit for it if anyone asks. My name is Dan Barnes. http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=check_download&ufid=DBCDDF360EB9E1B6&key=67f1a66e38ce4a73b3ed7c4e090e842a9badf4d4 Now, for my question. I have to sing a song for my sisters wedding reception and I don't have time to sequence and record a karaoke for it. Does anyone know where I can buy a high quality k of Besame Mucho, preferably the Andres Bocelli version? |

OK, so it does exist. THanks. I'm sorry, the title is "Song from half mountain" http://music.yahoo.com/Dan-Fogelberg/So ... ics/575604 Probably doesn't exist.. You can sample the song be pressing "sample".. Today this would likely be considered "mood or New Age" style.. It was ballad when I was a kid |

Yeah, all computer and synth. I played the piano mostly live and then worked out the solo and fixed it a lot via MIDI. Everything else is programmed MIDI on SONAR 6PE. I'll do real guitar one of these days. |

Thanks Dan, but why does it say something about breaking wind when I down loaded it to i-tunes? LOL |

Wow! thanks, Bone! You're a life saver. Sounds like a pretty good version, too. Maybe we could do some more "gift" exchanging? |

Really, Lord???? Could be when I converted Moondance to mp3 I forgot to clear the tags... I did a parody of Petty's "Break Down", mine is "Break Wind." I actually got some airplay on Dr. Demento on that one, still do when the subject is farting. :D |

I'm a musician that wishes to make the analog--->digital transition (been saying this for a few years but now I'm ready to take the plunge).. How's M-audio for a controller ? I like the semi-weighted action, prefer piano/hammer action on keys.. Whats a reasonable interface ? Never did cakewalk. Sonar is the program ? I really don't want to turn this into a Phd needed type project, my preference is for simplicity.. |

I use and M-Audio Delta 1010LT sound card for my computer. If you are serious about getting started with digital audio multi-track programming and recording on your computer, the issue is much too complicated to discuss here. There are a lot of “what do you want?” and “here’s a way to go” scenarios that need to happen. I can only recommend the program that I use, SONAR by Cakewalk. I started out on their less professional version, Home Studio. You may want to start there and upgrade later, that’s what I did. Here’s one place you may want to ask the right questions: http://forum.cakewalk.com/tt.asp?forumid=16 |
