Post subject:  MTU hoster confusion

So I'm about to purchase my software. It is a toss up between MTU Hoster and CompuHost.

I downloaded the trial of compuhost and it seems pretty straight forward. Looks like it uses quite a bit of resources though.

So I'm looking at MTU Hoster as well, because it seems to be the one most people on here are using. Anyway I can't figure out which product I need. There is something called Karaoke Suite, and then there is something called Karaoke Suite with Video Hoster. I can't figure out which one ill need.

All I want to do is be able to play the CD+G and other files. I dont need anything too fancy, I would like to display the rotation on the screen as well. Song book program would be a plus.

If anyone has any insight to MTU Hoster, what I will actually need to acomplish this I would appreciate your input.

You would just need Hoster to import & play your cdg's for a show type situation.
The karaoke suite is a package deal in which not only get Hoster, but you also get the Microstudio (custom disc compiler - make one disc of your favorite songs), VoGone (decent vocal eliminator), Keyrite (key changer - which is built into Hoster, works with Microstudio well as you can create your personal customs in the key you need them at) & Karaoke Home Producer (create your own karaoke cdg from scratch - works well with VoGone).

I am completely happy with Hoster, absolutely no regrets.

OK on the website I don't see an actual MTU Hoster. I see Karaoke suite and Video Hoster. Is Video Hoster the name of the product I need?

Video Hoster, yes they changed from Hoster to Video Hoster about a year ago.  It's still Hoster to me  :D
