KARAOKE FINALISTS ARE ‘LIVING ON A PRAYER’ FOR NATIONAL WIN
TIME TO CROWN THE NATION’S KARAOKE KING OR QUEEN!

The grand final of the Poppets Pop Pickers Tour is now live, which means the heat is on for eleven talented karaoke finalists. With the results of the web poll to be announced on 25 September, the people of Britain are urged to make a difference by voting for who they think is the UK’s karaoke star of 2007.

It’s been karaoke mayhem, as people from across the UK queued to take to the mic, as the Poppets Pop Pickers karaoke took to the road, visiting ten towns over the summer. A heat was also won on the Youtube website.

Hundreds of karaoke professionals and novices entertained crowds and Youtube visitors for their chance to win place in the finals.  The final eleven have been awarded £250 for winning their heat, and whoever scoops the national title, will walk away with another £1,000.

Tracey Mattock, marketing manager at Poppets, adds:  “We were seriously impressed by some of the singers and the grand final boasts some real talent from across the UK.  With the fierce competition, it’s vital that the people of Briton to keep on voting for who they think should be crowned the UK’s karaoke king or queen.”
