With strict DUI and other local laws specifically for bars local law enforcement is more and more on the take Bars pay for protection and other priveledges. It is a epidemic and with casual observations can be detected when 2 cops enter a bar about midnight. I have seen mngrs (drinking ) go into the till and hand both cops money. None of the drunks notice it. Is anybody else here aware of it? article |

At our club, the cops would come into the parking lot, almost every week~end, and mark tires with fluorescent chaulk. It all of a sudden stopped??? :O |

But I am sure it happens in plenty of places. I suggest a call to the local tips hot line followed up with a letter to the local U.S. attorney. |
