Present setup We have a shure access 3 in a desk type mic stand I have a push button switch on the stand push on release its off. It is side chained into a compreesor to duck the background or DJ music. (Yes no FX on this mic in fact highs turned up because everybody has a tendency to talk closer to the mic) I got an audio technica which I would like to use as the announce mic A wireless is handy to walk around and if the music is ducked it is professional. Question is this one reason I never did like wireless for announce is you have to fumble with that little slide switch on the bottom (takes 2 hands). Anybody found a solution to this? |

I fear to comment as my fingers are very dear to me and I certainly don't want them broken but, I assume you have already discarded the notion of mounting a momentery contact switch in the mic body replacing the switch on the bottom? |

Yea but there isnt much room The nine volt battery pretty much fills the case. It might be possible with the right switch.. pic |
