That was absolutely gorgeous !  Isn't that a Ronnie Dyson Download though ?  The Washington Ronnie Dyson that was on Broadway, sang in the 70's and has since died ?  This Ronnie Dyson ?

I'd like people to sample song #5 and see who this is.

Considering you mentioned this september of last year

"But I don't even kno where to begin!!!!!!!  I've never reached high notes like that at the end ever before in my life all of my high notes seem like I am yelling or screeching."

You've made considerable progress reaching "higher areas".

Didn't Ronnie Dyson sing in a production of "Hair" btw ?   I don't recall much of him, but Hair really had an amazing singing crew...   Was it the Cowsill's and others ?  I don't recall... but wow !   That group could sing.    We really had great vocalists in the late 60's and early 70's...   I was just listening to "It Aint Easy" Three Dog Night.  Probably one of my favorite older albums.

well when you start posting some of your music... then we'll let ya know if you can sing ;)

yeah Steven.. this link is the original Ronnie Dyson artist..  not even a pro impersonator can get the exact inflection, echo, notes, length of notes, etc. of the original artist.. don't care how good the singer is.. there's always going to be something of themselves somewhere in it..

:::::Scurrying thru album's.... Hmmm,  What great obscure vocalist would
none of these folks recognise for my debut performance in the showcase:::::

[strike] Burton Cummings [/strike]
[strike] One of those dogs in three dog night [/strike]
[strike] The Beatles (nah, some might recall that's McCartneys group before Wings)[/strike]

[strike] Crash Test Dummies (transposed an octave lower)...nah.. the chorus won't work [/strike]

Karen Carpenter transposed down an octave ???  Hmm, this might work because she can't deny it's not me !! :bouncer:

Well something positive came of this !    I'm really enjoying Ronnie Dysons material,  this kid smokes !   Dang.    I never really followed him before this !

Here's another eearly 90's group I really respected..  Was Surface just a "one hit" wonder group ?   Listen to  "The First Time",  most will recall it from about 15-16 years ago.

Just a really pretty song.  Reminiscent of the Elwood Debarge period.  Remember the song "All this Love" ?

Lyrics:

I had some problems
And no one could seem to solve them
But you found the answer
You told me to take a chance
And learn the way of love, my baby
And all that it has to offer
In time you will see that love won't let you down

What impressed me about this particular song is that a VERY young El Debarge
nailed a pretty complex Jazz composition.

ADDED IN:

I can understand the desire to wish to be able to impress using ones vocal talent,  I really can..  BUT, It's wrong to steal and this includes another persons talent,  It's even more embarassing getting found out.
