Would love to buy a good set of Laser Disks and player.

Anyone selling out? I know, I know, they're heavy, outdated and all the other stuff people say...but I still want them!

Thanks, Brian! What's really sad is that in the past year, I've seen 2 offers for sets + player for $600, but didn't have the money either time.

Well, the good news is I'm slammed with shows (6+ per week) and I'm getting my 2nd system up and running (which is a little shy on the music yet). I'd like to compensate this with the lasers---it'd be the PERFECT addition to that system!

Let me know as sooooon as you hear something. I've got a corporate party booked for Dec. 12th that I'd LOVE to have them added to. I also posted this over in the "Classifieds" section, but thought I'd stick it here, too.

ps..I found a guy in Lexington that has about 60 of them (around 20 Pioneers, the rest DK and Nikkodo), 1 player, 2 Radio Shack speakers and a wireless mic...doesn't want to split it up and wants 5grand...OUCH! I'm not into the other gear he's offering, and definitely 5 grand isn't in the budget this week

WOW - thanks, guys!

Matt: GREAT links! I'd like to find someone selling out (to buy a BUNCH for a decent price) - but I'll need these links to get any that are missing or additionals, for sure. You're awesome!

Brian: Keep me posted! *anxious but patiently waiting*

Shell had mentioned once she was thinking of selling her stuff... you might ask her!

And dare I say it over at DOLT... a couple of the old schoolers have many of their lasers sitting in a closet! Ya might ask around there!

Knight ..
Tricia and I had a Brief phone convo. today.. and i checked out one of your links.. I liked it so well that i asked her to really look at the players I thought they were great as far price and to look at the dvd re-issues until she could afford the lasers. I just need to cross reference the laser set numbers with the re- issue set numbers to make sure they are all there or which ones are missing all my re-issues are with the Tucson, Arizona systems.
If not i'll keep looking for her.. but otherwise they are a great resource for pre-owned machines.

Thanks Brian,

AND that's what I've done myself recently... I had bought as many of the Pioneer DVDs as I could.

Doowop.com still has a great many of them. Check out their ebay buys first!!
