Any suggestions on a CDG player that supports MP3 disks.  My current player does not play MP3's.  EBAY has several but I'm scared of the quality.

I purchased the Karaoke / PA system for home use but I've done a couple party's for friends (Free) so I don't want to spend thousands.  The reason I want a MP3 / CDG player is because the party's lasts all day so most of the daylight hours are spent playing music mixes.

When night falls and I do Karaoke I would then have two players to improve the turn around time on songs.

Any good places to buy reasonably priced wireless mics and lighting to add to my collection?  I'm looking for decent sound and quality but this stuff will only be used 10-15 times  a year.

I can see now the tip jar needs to come out because this will be expensive.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I would put the mp3's on computer A player such as winamp can be set to autoplay an sit there and play your whole library if you have it in the playlist. You can get plugins to eliminate the gap between songs.

Thanks for the info.  What kind of hardware do I need to connect the computer to the mixer?  I currently use itunes for music will that work or is winamp a necessity?  Thanks for your help, I'm obviously new at this.

The hardware would depend on what computer output you have and mixer. What mixer do you have?

The computer outputs even headphone out will drive the line in on a mixer..

Yamaha MG 12/4

The only audio out is the headphone jack unless it can be done through usb

Cool.  Do I just run S video from my computer to the TV monitor and headphone jack into the mixer with the appropriate adapter?

How much is the Winamp Pro upgrade?  I couldn't find the price.

Thanks again

The headphone out will work A mini stereo such as [url=http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId

God shacks getting expensive..
Turn the pre down on the mixer (headphone out is hotter)

Winamp is free..... the plugin is this

For 2 screens...
Go to c://programfiles/winamp/plugins... copy gen_cdg.dll to another folder... rename it gen_cdg2.dll and then move or copy back into plugins folder
