Is anyone else having trouble from a Bars light dimmers noise in your system? Any remedies? My system is totally balanced but I have one bar that I just can't seem to get away from the problem. |

the hum is from improper grounding. If you get a "ground loop isolator" from Rat Shack, this has helped the battery hum for laptops as well as some venues that have older or improper wiring. |

I had exactly the same prob until someone suggested that everything needs to be plugged into the same circuit...I run powered speakers and depending on how many rooms are opened up at the restaurant...sometimes my FOH speakers can be miles away...I used to plug them into the nearest socket...and I inevitably got a hum. By running them all back to the one socket and plug board it eliminated the problem. It means that I have to spend extra time and effort with extension cords and taping them down but it does work, I havent had a prob since |
