Post subject:  cdg and player issue

HI! I'm new to this karaoke seen..but well I was in Japan for 6 months and fell in love with Karaoke. I now decided to buy a karaoke player for my home. I checked it out it plays CDG and so on...But my main question is, Im looking for cdg of Japanese songs. problem is it's hard to find any. I wanna keep up my Japanese fluency and so I wanna sing my fav Japanese pop songs. I guess I could make my own CDG disks..but, how do I do it? and Im not sure if the karaoke machine I am getting will play copied cdgs? also what kind of blank disks do I need to make cdgs? maybe my cd rewriter will not be able to copy them?

Sorry im pretty useless with tecky stuff. But please help me.
I have downloaded all the midis for the songs I want. The lyrics will also be in hiragana, how do I know if my player will support Japanese hiragana? it's so confused..but im worried if I buy the player and it does not do what i want..it will be a waste of money...

Please someone help me and give me a clear instruction of what I should do.

thanks

You can make a cdg on your computer provided you have the right programs & your burner is capable of reading & burning the cdg code.  Now I don't know if any of the programs available are able to write in anything other than the standard alphabet, anyone know?
As far as videos, most find them to be a joke & would rather have just the words.  VCD/DVD isn't really the standard, but alot of foreign discs come in these formats.

karaoke builder studio supports mulitple languages, but I'm not certain about Japanese. Certainly wouldn't surprise me.

I knw one of the video karaoke products does, as that's what I've seen on the market... highlighted words of karaoke songs. I just have NO idea which one did it.
