Post subject: | Video Out Put |
One good thing I liked about my Voco Pro mixer was the fact that I could have 2 video inputs and 2 video out puts - switched back and forth by a simple switch...Now that I am going to be STORING that mixer and using a dfx12 mackie which I doubt has any video capabilities . What is available or WHAT DOES everyone use when you have 2 or more video sources going to the same monitor or monitors. Like in the event you have your cdg player , maybe a dvd player etc.? is the answer just a simple A/B video switch from RAT SHACK? |

I use a rca video switcher/demodulator. It takes 4 inputs audio/video rca & s-video and will output to s-video, rca video and/or channel 3 or 4 . I like the rca because it is digital and hasnt got any crosstalk between inputs. and has crisp clear outs. |

I use the simple 4 source video switch from Rat Shack. It is an all RCA input/output so all sources go into this first, then into the RF modulator so you only need 1. You can hook it up so just the video goes through it (which is what I do) or you can hook the audio of the players into it as well & run the audio out from the switch to the mixer. |

If I had time - A real neat little toy is the Videonics MX1 Used for editing Audio/Video so you can roll (just one of the many editing features) the next screen in of out and you can superimpose. Choices of editing 4 channels audio or video- It's a REALLLLLLLY fun toy - your friends will be amazed |

Rat Shack as Lonman says. Also simplified my (non-DMX) lighting switching with a gizmo from them. |
