And that is the one of multiriggers using complete  burned duplicate catalog sets of discs at multiple show.s The new twist to this is operating across state lines. Being adajacent to another state Ive encountered more than one instance of this with the result of several legit individuals now being replaced by multiriggers using multiple burn sets vs original cd sets. So how would this fall under interstate commerce I wonder. Anyone dare to venture a guess??

I don't think it would be any more illegal than mulit-rigging in one state.  Since the karaoke industry is not regulated, i can't see why one would get into trouble having shows in two or more states provided he/she payed the appropriate income taxes from each venue.
