Anyone ever get to see a person whom you've heard thier post for the first time on the Singer's Showcase and then are fortunate to go see them actually sing the same song at a Karaoke show?? |

Not yet, but then if any SS members in the NY City or Long Island (Queens, Brooklyn, etc) are interested, I think it would be kinda cool to meet up at a venue sometime! |

Yep, I saw JDMeister on the Ed Sullivan Show with his ukelele when his hair was long and wavy singing "tip toe thru the tulips". But he's matured more since that time, and seems to do a better selection these days when he records. |

Yeppers, I've seen Kurt:) And I've seen Odie sing live too. (FInally... after twisting his arm for over a year) 
But that's it, only those two. (and Kurt, you rock... no, you swing... well, whatever, you know what I mean) 
From what I've seen, even with friends/family I've heard on recordings vs. live, EVERYone is much better live. . |

Do any of you remember that guy Dante that sings mostly "metal"? He hasn't been on here for a long time. I've heard him live, but it's been a while since I've seen him at karaoke. Talk about entertainment! Wow! |

I have subbed 1 song in SS and I have removed it cause I didn't like it.. However, Lonman and Johnny Reverb have heard me do that song live too.. Not sure if it was any better but they heard it...  .. The song.. was Enter Sandman by Metallica...
And I have met so many people from here and heard them sing so many songs.. I always think everyone is better in person just because it is live and you get to see the expressions on their face and I think that makes a big difference. |
