Since there are a few up currently wondering "What is Kappy doing, or thinking right now,  I really feel a need to know".

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071201/ap_ ... it_knievel

Some things just make you think.  Knievel lived a life consisting of dreams I awaken from hyperventillating scared xitless..  Yet I've always been fascinated by personalities so different than my own..  But what I think about more than anything else is that these daredevils live a life defying death,  trying to be bigger than it, and that's a type of denial I suppose, or a flirting with it... So when a daredevil of this magnitude dies it sort've makes me think...Time to get out the Escooter and fix the horn.

Kappy,

The sad fact is you're gonna die of SOMETHING.

The happy part is you can CHOSE how it happens-or at least narrow the odds a lot so that it happens doing something you really enjoy.

For a few folks, just getting out of bed is life threatening......(Sometimes you imply same).....I say to them "Why are you so scared of dying when your life is so uneventful that it shouldn't matter to you?"

Bounce off the guardrails of life, and give reason to place them where there ain't any as you pass.

You should head over and listen to my love ballad in the critique forum Keith, I did that Marilee Rush/Juice Newton song,  it's a real tear-jerker.  Tough not to cry when listening to this love song !!  It's one of those "chick" songs.

Yeah,  I decided in order to make that work as a gender bender "Just call me angel" wouldn't be the best  lyrical content... So I sortuh changed the lyrics somewhat...

The real culmination of the damn of tears breaking however is

"And just slowly turn away,  I don't give a rats a$$ if you stay"...

You know,  I figured if I'm going to pour my energy into something, it might as well be a song that'll get me laid  :worship:  :worship:

Nah,  the problem is Johnny, yeah that's my voice as is,  but with that voice what can I sing ?  Donovan ?  Arlo Guthrie ?  I'm too friggin limited in selection... I don't know how to work with my voice to enable me to sing... Backup for types of songs in a band setting perhaps, but as a vocalist my timbre doesn't cut it.

It wasn't a dry run either.  I'm not going to lie to you folks because I'm trying to learn to sing, and to say :dry run: would only be cheating myself... It was a fourth or fifth take.. pretty pathetic I know... It took me at least three to not laugh during the friggin concept... and a few takes to get my sound to what I felt MIGHT be suited to that type song.. Nothing I do is a dry run.. It's all laborious, contrived, and a pain in the butt... This is friggin difficult for me.  Only thing that keeps me going is thinking perhaps one day I'll get out've bed and have Billy's vocal chords.. (yet I wouldn't wish mine on too many..just a few)

[shadow=orange][glow=blue]Wow Kappy singing ! ! ! ![/glow][/shadow]

I almost missed it. This being an earth shattering accomplishment I'd think the song would have it's own forum. LMAO

Nice job Kappy - especially with the word Bas - turd. Very well articulated.
You kind of remind me of Tom Petty.

If I'm going to be stuck doing Petty,  I want to get a Karaoke copy of 'They went down Swinging".  It's his only song I like
