Karaoke Forums

Well it looks like we might get a pretty good local turn-out!  Richard was talking to Frank last night (he & Dena were the first two I thought of after meeting you guys in Texas) and two other couples from the RV Karaoke club should be there as well as a few tacked on to that group!  One of our KJ's (and regular on Saturday night) Jennifer and her boyfriend David will be there.  Also, hopefully, Christy & Michelle and maybe Tony.  Unfortunately Nita & Monty won't be there 'cuz they are in Las Vegas getting married!!!!  :hi5:  Some of the other regulars that should be there, but not at the table, are Tiffany, Charla, Erin & Matt...  Shanne' is going to have her hands full with us that night!

We are really looking forward to seeing you guys again!

Sounds like we will have a really fun crew!!!  I am so excited..But I found out this morning that OKC is still 2.5 hours from where I am in OK...Aaarrrgg!!  Oh well, we are going to have so much fun anyways!!!!

I can't wait. I don't do well with crowds but I'm sure I can hang for at least a couple of hours. When it gets to be too much, I'll just sneak back to the hotel and enjoy the creature comforts.

He is secretly planning to party all night if he can.

I am SURE we will have more get-togethers in this area at least, as long as Sharon has anything to say about it. And I will second the motion gladly.

The Biltmore sounds posh. Total ego trip in staying there. Heh, heh.

I think the entire Texas KS crew, The Texas Idols, needs to go on a North American tour and visit the rest of us KSers who can't make it to the great party state of TX!!!  :yes:  You can even sell tickets to cover your expenses!  LOL

Tomorrow is the day. I can't wait.

I am ready to pack. We ship the dogs over to Rich and Sharon's tonight for their son to dogsit. We practiced last night at home...did about 15 songs each. Printed out maps and directions. Today is payday. Does it get any batter than this? Only if all you guys who can't make it could be there, too!

As for the Texas Idol (or Texas Idle) tour, maybe we can get Sound Choice or Chartbuster to sponsor a bus. I'm READY!!!

We are already talking about another Dallas/Fort Worth get-together. For those of you who DO fly, Southwest Airlines is cheap (hint, hint)!

We are having our niece work the store tomorrow afternoon so we can "rest up" before the festivities!  LMAO

We've even arranged for there to be two bartenders there "just in case"...  We will drive up and taxi home....

If we can get away we would definitely do another Texas get-together!!

I am printing my maps right now!! I am way too excited for words!!! Gonna hit the store in Moore first, cause we just gotta check that out, then head to the hotel and get checked in, visit the OKC Memorial and then hit Bricktown for dinner...After that it is back to the hotel to sit in the jacuzzi and rest beofre heading our to SING!!!!

We went early bird shopping this morning and we got a camera!!! We'll have it with us...So watch out for that flash....

We will be coming from the durant area so we will be coming from the south up 35..Go the directions and they are good....But I was really looking for directions that said something to the effect of turn left at Bill's bait shop!!!LOL

I am already excited just by reading this thread... But it seems like I am going to miss the huge fun tomorrow night, it's unlikely we'll get a babysitter for our son, as all factors putting together: night, weekend, and holiday, whew.....!  

Anyway guys, you all have a really wild one and hopefully someone will post some pics after the event, !

Duckpond, we were looking forward to meeting you. With this crowd, though, there is ALWAYS a "next time" right around the corner. And Susie has three shows (I think) up and running in the OKC area so you will get to sing with the best even when the Texas crowd heads south for the winter.  :wave:

It costs 25 points for an avatar. Click on Forum Shop in the Member Area over on the left sidebar and enter the effects shop. I just donated 50 points even though you already had enough..this way you can buy your avatar and have a head start on more silly, fancy stuff.

I had to be told, too. Luckily Chuck already knew, so I just had to look over my shoulder and complain.  LOL


Ok, I am ready to SING. Dogs are gone, Christmas tree is up, trash is on the curb, clothes are clean. Sucking down coffee now because what is a road trip without having to stop at a truck stop and use a disgusting bathroom?  :dancin:
