Everyone knows how nice you are, and it angers us, that someone like you could  fall victim to such a deplorable crime. I remember when you wrote something so sweet, that I thought you were being sarcastic......I thought no one could be that nice.........oops......you were sincere.....my bad
it's still possible, it was something else.......had you been taking any Tylenol before hand, or any prescription or over-the-counter pain medication?......I hope you get to the bottom of this real soon.......take care......johnny

I hope it was just that they poured you the wrong drink, it does happen all the time. Bartenders can't always hear properly over the noise, and don't always care to fix it if they make a mistake. Also don't rule out other possibilities (health related issues such as a virus etc.) I have had bugs that only seemed to last an evening and dizziness was the main symptom. I dunno, just trying to suggest different possiblities... also don't assume that a friend might have drugged you because there are always  going to be people in a bar you don't know, even in your regular watering hole. I hope you get this resolved and that it ends up just being a bad reaction to the gin... cause friend or not it's pretty scary to think someone drugged you. I hope you're doing ok.  :hug:

Nope I am not any any recurring meds at all for anything....Don't take Tylenol ever...One of Rich's cousins was one of the people who died in the 80's when they were lacing the pills with that poison.  Being sealed for your protection is a good thing....

My hard core drug of choice is Ibuprofen.  But that is not very frequent, mmmm.  I don't take pills very well.  I have a deformed roof of my mouth so that makes it difficult to swallow things like that.....If that makes any sense to anyone.  You can't see it and it doesn't affect anything except for the way I swallow food.  I do have to chew my food a lot......Really!!!

Even though I said a date rape type drug doesn't preclude that another type of drug was used.  As for the tape, the police should be immediately contacted and they take custody of it.  This should have been one of the first things done.  The longer it is not in police hands, the quicker a defence attorney can accuse the tape had been altered in some way.  I've seen this tried many times with some success.  The police will review the tape and if they notice that a crime has been committed (ie drugging of the drink), they will call the victim and other possible witnesses to identify the perpetrator, if they do not have that person on their radar.

The biggest mistake people commit is not calling the police right away.  The longer you wait the better chance evidence is destroyed, lost, altered, eye witness memory fades, etc.  It is better to call and the investigation reveal nothing, than not to call and the suspect get away.

Thanks Tim. If it's truly believed there's a chance that she was the victim of such a crime, and the hospital backs up such an assertion,  I just find it's wrong NOT to notify the police.  Such a person could've slipped a "street drug" into someones drink that also had speed, or was laced with something else, and it could've killed them.. These aren't pharmacists handing out drugs to cure people, the intent is to rape the girl.. This person belongs in jail assuming he does exist, and the tape is the evidence. If there's some belief that this happened, it's a police matter.  How can it NOT be ?  Let it go, and what will happen to some poor girl this weekend ?  It's NOT just about Sharon.  Maybe she'll find that she was the 4th victim of this type incident in that location this weekend,  and at least that would answer a few questions as well.  Some things just should not be withheld...

I'm trying to find the name of the bar in that area,  just so I can do an area search......  In Texarcana on the 29th there were two episodes of date rape drugs being used, just said police believe there to be more epsiodes than people that have come forward, but that's a different state.....regarding the Austin area,  I want to narrow the search down

Try not to let this incident scare you to much by thinking of the worse
thing that could of happened. Your safe and at home now. It is quite a trama
you've been through.

I hope the video sheds some light on what happened. Unfortunately the video that
comes from those cameras isn't very good. We have several cameras at our bar and when you view the video it is hard to see everything. There was money stold off the bar once and we tried to catch the culprit. When you have that many people moving around it will be hard to see a drink glass 100% of the time.
