All but When I Call Your Name gets done regularly at my show. Hot Rod Lincoln not so much anymore either since the guy that used to sing it moved to Idaho, but when he comes back every couple months, he sings it.

I seem to be the only guy singing these at my fav watering hole:
Wanted Dead or Alive-Bon Jovi (my favorite)
She talk to Angels-The Black Crowes (second favorite)
House of the Rising Sun-The Animals
Jealous Again-The Black Crowes
I'm Eighteen-Alice Cooper
Hard to Handle-The Black Crowes
Broadway-Goo Good Dolls
Aqualung-Jethro Tull
I'm no Angel-Greg Allman
Paint it Black-The Rolling Stones
If someone else is singing these, they're not doing it when I'm there...

I sing "Hello Dolly." I prefer the broadway play version over the original Louie Armstrong hit. I just love to sing that song. And it seems appropriate to lift the spirits in a bar. I'd love to find a banjo player and a trumpet player and do it live.

I know what you mean.
I sing Stiletto a lot and maybe thats why I end up singing She Hates Me.
I guess I just don't like love songs. This guy was singing last night who I got a kick out of cause he has my cynical attitude. He announced he was singing two love songs, then proceeded to sing "Rocky Raccon" and "Paint It Black" :)

AH HAH!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got all you KJ's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm bound to win this argument, no matter what I say !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For you are saying the customer, the singer, is always right!
And I am a customer...a singer.
Therefore I am right.
You all owe me a beer.

Where was that stated?
Yes the customer is always right - to a point!
If they cross a line, then they are gone. I have it stated in my rules pages & on the wall of the clubs I work, Lonman Productions & associates of, have the right to refuse service to anyone.
If they continue to push over the line, then they are 86'd from singing (at least for the night)! Only had to do that twice in 13 years.

Next time I'm in Oklahoma, you got it Susie. :)
I have my favorite songs made into some CD's. Sound Choice does this. It's cool. That way, whatever Karaoke bar I'm at that has a crappy menu, I can still do my stuff.
What's this Karaoke Fest about? Where does it happen?
And lastly, I'm traveling to Sacramento this weekend. Anybody got a pulse on this town's Karaoke options?

WOuld love to hear the Ambrosia song & any of the Foreigner (oddly enough none ever get done). These quoted are pretty regularly done at my show.

Ok, I'm new here. You all say you would love to hear me sing these songs but you're not in my town. Does this website have a place to post recordings of songs?
If so, what is the preferred method of recording one's self?

I think we (at least myself) mean that we'd like to hear those songs at the shows we frequent - although I could be wrong.
As far as recording yourself & posting, check out the Singers Showcase. http://www.singersshowcase.com/
