As far as the Legal side of what happened to Chartbuster I know nothing. I was a Sales Rep not on the Legal team.
I am the Sales Manager for DigiTrax. Once again, not on the Legal team. I do know about the licensing with publishers only because it goes hand in hand with sales.

All of my files have the manu name and the bit rate in the title by concatenation (I think that's the name)

Troy,
I apologize I did not explain that right. We do not have columns in the Karaoke Cloud that tell you who the Manufacturer is before you purchase the song. That is something that is getting worked out.

But, if you were crafty, you could put it right into the name (title) of the song. You can do that with Excel. I actually didn't do it to my file names, I did it in my tags. So, a title looks like: "Friends In Low Places DK"
So if you had the title in an Excel col B and Manu code in col c, you could put the following formula in col D: =b1& " " & c1
Better than nothing...

This would be one of those you think you hear something different, SBI makes Sunfly's music - they are the same music track. Just like SGB & Idol Makers. Hijack over......

Troy,
We are currently have all of that information in our Content Management System. We currently have 84,000 tracks stored. Only 8,800 have been licensed and are for sale.
With that being said, we will be making a Major announcement next week regarding Large portions of the 84,000 coming available!

That would take 20 minutes to do. Panorama WAS Top Hits Monthly. Stellar (aka Pop Hits Monthly) acquired that catalog - two totally different companies.

Panorama sold their assets while in litigation. I forget who they sold it to, but that company was the one who changed the CDGs. And PHM acquired THM? I never knew that. Are you sure?

From what I understood. At least their CAP program covers the THM library.

Hmmmm
BKD has a lot of THM on their website, which I find kind of fishy. That's why I try not to buy from them nowadays - only as a last resort for a good customer.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused." @gretchen, is this true? i recieved a different response that DT asked them to pull them as there were sone issues and hope to have them back soon.

I got the same response from Selectatrack, that DT pulled them because of the logo issues and hoped to have them back up soon after everything was cleaned up.

In this case that is not true. about 1 year ago, I ordered this particular song from SBI, and requested the SBI version. When I received it and played it, it was OK, but it seemed to be missing something in the instrumental department. I then asked them (SBI) if I could exchange that track for the Sunfly version of it (that they had available), and they did that for me (since I ordered over 20 discs from them over the past few years). When I got the Sunfly version, it was much better/fuller.

Maybe this particular Sunfly track was produced long before SBI was even in existence? Maybe just their new stuff is sharing musical backing tracks?

That's a possibility too. The clip I heard on SAT sounded pretty damn close, maybe Sunfly is changing all their old stuff with SBI replacements??
