Sorry for that last tirade.  While I'm trying to learn what I can as quickly as I can, and value the collective wisdom/advice I gain here, some people just likes to see themselves type!

Most folks here give their opinion and adquately express why, when necessary, they have come to a particular conclusion.   Others just go on and on and on to the point where they are rambling, or worse, being inconsistent!

Give us a break

The 9,500 songs are not duplicates.   They are one version of 9,500 different songs.   So you're the professional here.   Why would I only pick out 1500 of them to print?     That makes no sense.

MM version was the only one I had at the time I was playing that song.   I got more versions after I quit playing it, from adding new discs.

Unlike most KJs I have a nice selection of songs.  So If you can not sing 8 1/2 minutes of Pby The DB lights, you can pick another one from the 9,500 songs, which I know you have not sung every one of those.  It would take you years to sing them all at a show.  LMAO  :O   Well maybe not you.... :worship:  :worship:  :worship:

I have taken the liberty of not wasting your time, by only listing the most musically correct version, as compared to what's heard on the radio.

So if I came out to your show  LMAO  LMAO  LMAO  LMAO  LMAO  LMAO  LMAO  LMAO  LMAO  LMAO  LMAO  LMAO , sorry lost track there for a sec.

So if I came out to your show & did not see a particular version listed, but knew you had it because I saw another song off that same disc listed, you would play it for me right?  Regardless of what you may deem musically accurate?

If your untrained ear wants to listen to song versions that are musically incorrect, I don't care.   You can sing to any crappy version of any song listed in my master book.

My customer book is edited to the best musically correct versions, not the masters.

What's so inconsistent.   I don't attract the screaming drunk 21ers, because of my edited book.    But I do indeed entertain everyone that is in attendance, unless they are there to be disruptive or do not want to get alone with the way the rest of the crowd is behaving.   That doesn't make me wrong.   It makes me smart.   I worry about the bars reputation as much as I worry about mine.   Screaming drunks and disruptive people are not part of those reputations.      If that's your reputation, you have to live with it, I don't.

I cater to a more sophisticated karaoke crowd.   One with more talent and more serious about quality karaoke.      They can find screaming drunk, hack karaoke anywhere.   They chose to sing at quality karaoke.     That's what I provide.
