Water at home. Water with lemon when I go out to a restaurant or even out to sing. Water when I work. In other words water , I drink lots of it. Throw in an occasional Diet Dr. Pepper and that's pretty much what I drink most times. Now when Charmin & I get together it's gonna be Absolut of course, my alcoholic beverage of choice. Love that stuff LMAO

Yep, that's true. What's funny is, I have 4 sisters...... NONE of them drink milk, nor does my mom, or my youngest brother. My other 2 brothers, and my dad, are like me....... they guzzle it. Tastes change I guess. Heck, I ate ocra, collard greens and potatoes, and pickled pigs feet as a kid, even barbecued beef tongue (hoorah to being raised on a cattle ranch- :puke: )....... but I would starve before eating any of that crap now. And I never thought a thing of it as a kid.
If Phil let us have a bar in here we would all be at the bar all the time...And then the KJ's would fight over who would host the Karaoke and the rotation would be days long...It would be an ugly site....

Oh definitely Fireball! It's corn whiskey with cinnamon in it so it basically tastes like cinnamon hearts....you drink it as a shooter. It's the only shooter I have ever had more than one of (aside from Jello shooters) :dancin: :dancin:

I'll have a Pino Grigio, if I'm also having dinner. I also like vodka and 7 and on special occasions like my birthday, I'll have a Long Island iced tea or margarita on the rocks. No more than three drinks and never mix them. Hic! I never drink when I record songs at home, btw.
Hangover remedy - two asprins and 6 oz. of milk just before going to bed.

I drink Gold Patron or Jameson's straight when I'm singing at the house. When I'm in a club that stuff is too expensive so it's straight-up tobasco for me.
Edit: Did I say Tobasco? I meant Coors Lite, never gives me a hangover.

mine is one word...alcohol!
oh yeah, shots too!
but when i kj's it was strictly coffee and maybe water. the staff wasn't allowed to drink til about midnight...it's amazing how fast one can get tanked between midnight and 2...not to mention we used to stay after the bar closed til daybreak...don't remember those nights too much though.
i guess the older i get the less i want alcohol at all...besides i am married to isis and i have to be in full control or she'll pull some stunt and whammy, i pay for it for days!!
LMAO LMAO LMAO

When I am hosting, I suck down coffee (to go with the cigarettes I suck down) until about an hour before the show ends. If I don't trust the drunks onstage with my equipment, I SURE don't trust me!
When I am just out to play and sing, I can suck down vodka tonics or amaretto sours, but it gets expensive and I am never too proud for a beer, so I usually go with Shiner Bock!
Green tea has turned into my drink of choice during the day.

Sometime I'm going to do the song Tequila while drinking a shot of tequila and doing a skit onstage since the lack of lyrics.

If I'm singing/playing I start out the night with selzer. At our first break I'll order a double shot of 12-year old Jameson's neat if it's available. If not I can make do with a scotch that's smooth enough to sip.
I'm a sipper and not a guzzler. I know that I can't sing or play when I'm drunk so I avoid overdoing it. A double shot of Irish whiskey spread out over 4 or 5 hours doesn't seem to affect me much.
Because of the expense I normally drink the Jameson's at home. If I'm out and I'm buying, it's MGD from the tap.

Milk in tea sheeeesh You know I'm gonna have to work up the nerve to try that one of these days just so I can see if it tastes as bad as I think it will....pmsl LOL
I agree with ya on the booze though....yechhh :vomit:
Now I prefer a nice cup of strong hot coffee myself...with cream and sugar. Or tea(hot or iced) with sugar....no milk....hehehe

Oh man I have been hooked on Star Bucks lately.
I love an iced americano - room for cream- no sweet
Then I put in spenda and skim milk
When you order there you feel like your in another country ordering.
Sometimes when I hear people order it sounds like another language.

Here lately, as the shows have grown, I've been resisting the urge to drink alcohol during the shows. I usually try to stick with water and lemon. But then there will be those nights that someone will send up a shot of jager or mug of beer, but of course that's usually later in the evening and not wanting to offend the guest, I gladly partake.
Then there are those folks who almost drive you to drink during the night, and the manager is usually pretty keen on noticing these particular individuals, and will bring me up a shot or beer with a 'here you earned this one' comment.
