duct tape?  you mean that same stuff used to secure the power and video cables to the floor so nobody trips on them stuff?

Back to the original thread, if it is just the wheel, and not the leg or hole where the wheel stem goes into, that hopefully should be replacable.  I looked at my stand (very similar) and with a little effort with a screwdriver blade, the wheel stem comes out and if you can find the same size, should be replacable.  if you cant find the exact same size, but can find one that matches the stem, you could always buy a set of those wheels, also called furniture casters, like this:

that may not be an exact match, but you should get the idea....
