Nathan, what in the world has gotten into you? haha... I've never seen this side of you before. (ya drinkin'? ..... if so, then I want some of what you're having...) I'm with Rita though... bring it on, I think we can take you. :D
Nah, just funning with you. It's nice to see you joining in the lighter-hearted side of KS though...... so, carry on. :D

Nathan, I just checked. It's still open. You can buy the tickets online. Hey Rita, yea I did a search on it and it looks like it's still open, maybe it was a temporary shut-down of sorts, I would love to see the look on my kids face when they light up that waterfall, it's seriously amazing...
Now you've made me want to go back up there! LOL I love the mountains in East Tennessee. It's all flat land here. You should take the kids! There's lots of stuff to do up there. Hmmmmmmm....I think I need to plan another vacation... LOL

It is a cave. You go in the cave and walk for about 20 to 30 min and then you come into this huge open space (Like a high ceiling) and they flip on the lights and it the most beautiful waterfall you've ever seen. It's a natural waterfall.

That's strange, I thought I had Tennessee site, Lovers leap is Missouri. Nope, It's Chattanooga <sp> as well. Seems as though every state has at least one or two locations named "lovers leap"
This is why it's best to stay single !

Steven,
I know what you mean about heights. When Steve was here from England we went to Hot Springs Arkansas and they have this tower on top of a mountain that you can go up in and look out over the countryside and mountains. They have two levels at the top. The first level is closed in with windows. I was fine in there but then we went to the next level where it was open and I got dizzy. I couldn't get close to the rail....

Yes Jeanne, EVERY state seems to have at least one..
Rita, I guess many from England, Wales, Ireland have far higher cliffs... I wouldn't be able to stand those English Channel cliffs. Some of those are brutal. A few friends just driving in Ireland were terrified. I guess there are switchbacks and roads that aren't what we are used to (in europe). Actually in most countries..

I'm hoping I can go to England next year. I've never been out of this country so it would be an experience for me.

Holy Xit ! In Nashville there's a FULL SIZED replica of "The Parthenon" ? That'd freak me out if I happened to drive past that without knowing it existed. I've been to the Acropolis in Athens, and the actual parthenon, I hadn't a clue Tn had an exact to scale replica
ADDED IN:
"Swinging Bridge", I think I'll stay away from Chattanooga, that doesn't sound like the greatest place for a person who fears sheer drops and heights. Nashville sounds nicer, I'll go to G Gruhn guitars, and stay there !
