Stratocasters seem to be the universal electric guitar too!

As a design prototype perhaps,  Some countries don't have easy access to the Fender line.  I seriously doubt either of those two guitars are Fenders.  Might be Tokai, Yamaha Pacifica, Artone, or OEM, maybe a different make manufactured at Beijing AOFA Musical Instruments in CHina. Seriously doubt either are Fenders.   Printing pattern on headstocks don't even look like Fender print

Fender is a very popular G'tar here Steven. I don't know g'tar well enough to tell if it is chinese or original. But what I know is that those band boy will save up just to get thier hand on a used one. We have an very good g'tar maker in around here. He make damm good custom g'tar, and is cheap by your standard.

A few of the Asian manufacturers are gaining A LOT of respect in todays guitar Market.  Tokai for instance, supposedly makes a copy that's VERY good.  These guitars are no longer that inexpensive either.

Sure,   They're even better than Celesteon,  Jenssen, and Eminants.  I wonder what a good pair of Klepsch, Bostone Acoustics,  even Nartin Logan audio speakers cost over there !

Incidently,  around 1982-83 a bit after Fender started importing, and before the Squire line,  Fender had just discon'd it's Lead seres (1 and 2) HB pickup, they weren't selling well,  Fender had "The Strat" line with the red and blue matching headstock (active strat) very deep tone (gold plated parts) but those, the Stratocasters now approaching 700 dollars, and  The Bullet just weren't selling.  An Asian company came out with a copy line they spelled

Tender.   The T was like the Fender F letter print.   I believe the company was forced to discontinue that name.  It looked very much like the Fender logo, yet just had a T instead of the F...   Low end lousy guitars.  This was after Memphis copys, and prior to Hondo
