..... I'd never heard those names used for the female gender.

I have a son (he just turned 18.) and his name is Austin. (middle name, but that's what he's always gone by)

My niece, who has always been really close to my kids... just had her 3rd baby, a girl, and she named her after my son.  "Macy Austyn" She just spelled it with a Y rather than an I.

I think that's really cute when names are used for both genders. Well, when girls are named boy names I mean. I wouldn't want to name a boy Sue or Mary.

I also have a niece named Dallas, and I think that's cute for a girl.

(hell, we've got half of Texas covered, Lol..... if my oldest son has a girl next, she'll be named Liberty... which is, also, a town in east Texas) Jiminy christmas... maybe I'll talk them into naming her Georgia or something instead:)

CRYSTAL....

I just did a big "Dur, dur" in another thread. I was reading about people's Meez... then I went reading around and I saw yours, and your blinkie..... and I went running back to the Meez thread saying "What?? Is Crystal expecting?" I hadn't saw this thread till I went digging for posts by you, to find out.

I'm the last to know I guess. Gosh, I hate being last at ANYthing.... I'll have to go tell someone who doesn't know yet, so I'll feel better:)

Big congrats to you.. that is one AWESOME piece of news, babies are the best thing about marriages. (way, way, better than the husbands imo)   :D

I'll try to keep an eye on your posts, so I can stay "up to date".

Good luck to you through all of it, that's a very exciting time for you both.

No- wait- your name is CRYSTAL!! (well, duh, but.... )

If it's a girl, you need to name her Diamond, or Ruby, or.... or.... some other kinda gem:)

Gawd, I'm wacked.

My next girl name was gonna be Nocona Sky, I loved that name for years. (my favorite brand of boots, Lol) But, I had a boy last, so I used the name Harley... then got myself all tied up at age 25, and couldn't have any more kids.  :(  I envy you all who are getting to experience that now.

Atleast.... You all could make me an "honorary aunt" or something, you & Seby. I'm a really good aunt, all my nieces & nephews think I'm the coolest:) I'll fill out an app if you want me to... :D

Charmin, Charmin, Charmin..... you really ARE outta the loop, aren't you? My husband (tyson) and I split a LONG time ago. I'm now with someone else. Tyler. The baby is Tyler's. We also moved. We're living in the province of BC now. On the west coast. Yep I'm closer to you now. I bought a book of baby names today, hoping I'd find a girls' name I like, but I can't think of one for the life of me!! (though I do kinda like Dallas) My best friend in the whole world's name is Sarah, but that's my neices name, so I'm pretty sure that'll be the middle name.

SO... now on to the news.... I had my first ultrasound today and HOLY CRAP MUTHER!! This is one seriously active baby! I think I'm gonna give birth to a gymnast. When we first got the image on the screen, the baby was in the breech position and the doctor says "well, it not something to be concerned about yet, but we'll definately keep an eye on the position" He barely got that sentence out, when the baby completely flipped over! LOL! It flipped like that about 3 times during the appointment. Show-off!

We tried to see if it was a boy or a girl, but it kept puttin it's little hands in the way covering it up!! We said "oh it must be a boy! He's playing with himself already!" Haha!! Ohhhh I can't wait to find out!!

according to the size of the baby, I'm 17 weeks along (a week further than I thought) but I'm thinkin it's just a big baby, cuz I really don't think I'm that far, but what do I know?

I have one picture of his hand up like it's waving. All the fingers are spread apart. All five of 'em! SOO freakin' cute. The doc typed "Hi Mom" on the screen! I love it! I cried like a baby! haha. I also got another one of the bitty little feet! aww!!

anyways.... I know I'm babbling, but I can't help it!! It's about 6 inches long right now.

K I'm shutting up now!

-Crystal

That was the Vulcan symbol for 'Live Long and Prosper'.  :banger:

What a coincidence Crystal...I'm preggers too.... :O

Oh, wait. I'm a guy. Nevermind. :nana:

Ok, perhaps I'm not that funny. :drinklaugh:

:swg: Congrats Crystal! Was this the guy you made the wild game receipe for? What was that Venison roast? Sounds like it all went over well. Glad things are moving forward for you in a great way. I had a feeling they would.     :D

Yes, yes, I am definately out of the loop.

I knew you had split with Tyson, I recall reading that thread. Then, reading here, you were talking about "Ty".... naturally, I assumed you had reconciled with him. Shows what I know. But what are the chances you're new guy would have the same nic?  :D

Okay, now I'm all up-to-date.... again, big congrats to ya Crystal.
