LMAO I love being missed ya know. I am alive, barely. My show went until 3am
Friday night and then I had to tear down. They had a band on Saturday because I needed to go to my fiancee's family xmas party 4 hours away the next morning. That went until 2am. Then Sunday got up for breakfast with his family, drove back 4 hours to go to my brothers 50 birthday party. I managed to catch a cold too. I'm one pooped out, partied out Babs.  :D

I'm dying to tell you guys about Friday. I think the bar was over capacity for people it was so packed. People were standing all around the edge of stage and sitting on the pool table. I laughed when I read the comments about a chalk board because a night like this there would be no way to see one, let alone get to it. People probably would have sat on it too.  LMAO To squeeze more people in I let them use my tables that I keep my books, slips, tip jar etc... on. My books were passed out through the bar and slips were handed from person to person to get to me. There was no path to the stage or hole to get on the stage. It was like a human car wash to move from one place to another. My tv set is on the floor in front of stage. It was pushed around quite a bit, but never was tipped completely over because there were bodies up against it. My tip jar was on the floor out of sight - I didn't really use it and stiil made $150 in tips, woo hoo. I tried announcing when people were on deck as much as possible because it was so hard to make it to the stage. That worked out fairly well. I had a couple of the regulars keeping an eye on me asking me here and there if I was okay. I just tried to stay as origanized as possible and stayed alert to possible problems. I did have one big gal go face first off the stage taking about 3 people down with her. Everyone was okay. I refused to sing because of the mile long rotation, so a patron gave me a $50 tip to encourage me to sing. I announced it would be the only time I would sing as to give others more of a chance to get their turn in. That worked out awesome!

There was no way I could go to the bathroom, so I held it all night.  :O I would never recommend taking on such a crowd by yourself unless you were a seasoned karaoke host, that's for sure.  LMAO

Thank you everyone for your help   Even though it was a drunk crazy over populated night I felt really good about the fact I kept it under control and survived.
