In Florida we have a chain called Brandsmart. I just got a flat, LCD, 15" for about $150. It's a Symphonic, made in China. It has an easel style stand and seems very resistant to being knocked over. The color is a little off (fine with me for Karaoke) and I haven't a clue how long it will last!

Maninblack. Seems like you're paying about $50 more because of the DVD player regarding the $199 unit?
