This is still just karaoke isn't it? I never get that excited.  ...unless this is one of those naked karaoke things or something?  Is this one of those deals where your name gets called and you come back with a smile on your face?

(I can tell I didn't get any sleep last night after just two replies)

I am going to the Rolling Stones Sunday and am not sure if I will make it. It's a 55-60 mile trip for me from San Marcos and my wife is already mad about me spending all day and night Sunday at the Stones concert. Plus PlanetBill won't commit to going either...

Would like to go but will have to play this one by ear.....

Hey all! The planets appear to be in alignment, so we will likely be in orbit, but we may not be able to fire our retro rockets until a bit later as I have an earlier dinner get together going on.

Hopefully this will be fun, and I'll finally be able to check out this P-ville karaoke show. I'm hoping the acoustics and sound are great! I love a great sounding show. So far my favorite has been South 40 in south Austin when someone with decent equipment plugs into the built in dance floor sound equipment. That place sounds like Carnegie Hall or something when running like that. Good singers sound incredible, bad singers sound incredibly bad - !

BTW in addition to the P-ville abbreviation, I commonly refer to Austin as A-town, otherwise known as Margaritaville.

Hmm maybe if I planned this better we could drink some micro brews earlier at the Draught House.

Hey also, as Jeff mentions The Rolling Stones will be playing in Zilker Park tomorrow along with Los Lonely Boys. I hear there are still tickets available. I'll probably go and at least hang outside the fence and listen, or may actually buy a ticket from a scalper on the cheap and check out action later.

You Big D folks may want to stay for some of that action.

Crystal, We were thinking of you all night!!! We had a great time...I even took a flying leap and jumped on Steve!!!  It was awesome!!! Planet Bill showed up kinda late but it was still great to meet him!!! He is great too..He has quite the sense of humor.  I have limited pics but I will get them up real soon.  

Steve is a really great host!!!!  And so is Ryan, they were tag teaming the show last night...They had the crowd just going crazy...It was a very high energy show..And the sound was incredible..They do a fantastic job of mixing..Well, except for the first song that Rich sang snd not even God could help him sound better!!!

crystal, the group picture was taken while i was trying to sing.  i don't know if i was that bad or if the alcohol just hit at that time.  anyway, we were definitely thinking about you!!!
