Bab's. I just vaguely recall one song where I mentioned something about being abit sharp or flat... Don't recall which.. You than stated you only did the song in one take, and I said that makes a HUGE difference. State that if you ask for a Critique.. The discussion went something like that... One take allowances are ALOT different than many takes with tweaking.

btw Bab's. That was only on a few notes. The song itself was excellent. Now this isn't a Critique of course, it's just a warmup for the REAL deal
Actually, I wouldn't critique anybody this late at night when I'm this tired.. It's not fair.. I must be at my best... I wear a suit and tie... get my hair done, manicure, paint my toenails, brush a few teeth, and rise to the occassion

Maybe two rankings, and use audio clips: 1. Wild applause. 2. Gong.

When you critque yourself -
I can hear where I go flat or sharp, usually. That
I can fix with paying more attention when I sing that part over. It's the stuff I don't hear that I need help with the most. I think some people get upset because if they don't hear it, well the person telling them must be wrong. Does that make sense?

Oddly enough, better to aim for the "sharp" and avoid the "flat"--in fact, many singers are "sharper" then you think--it is just not as noticeable to the ear then going down toward "flat"....the voice has a tendency to lapse into being flat than the other way around, much easier to do.

Michael... I forgot all about "The Gong Show"..
It's sort've funny, what is the point of a ranking system if there are only two ranks ?
9.99+++++, and 10, considering the 9.99+++++ always ends up being disputed and copious apologies ensue

The next time I do a sub that I want critiqued I don't car if it's public or private, though public might give the critiquers some space for discussion to have it all in a bundle. That might actually be really good for my short attention span.

I so wish sometimes we had a gong show hook at karaoke.
It would be great to have someone removed before they finished
when they were so horrible that the paint on the walls was trying to escape.
