The suicide pit is way in the back of the property.

A place to go when nobody loves you.   :(
When you just want to have a good cry.   :(
When you need to lick you wounds.
Talk to yourself.
Play with the rope around your neck.
Tickle your wrists with razor blades.
Have a game of Russian Roulette.
Jump to the bottom of the pit.
A real fun place.
A place to sing at the top of your lungs.
Howl at the moon.
Stare at the sun.
Wish on a shooting star.

my whiz-kid cousin says all caps are like shouting,so here goes,
GEEZ, SOME PEOPLE JUST DONT GET IT, SOI ILL SAY ONE MORE TIME. IVE SAID THIS PRIVATLY TO BIGDOG AND NOW IM SAYING PUBLICALLY, I DONT WANT ANY MORE PRIVATES MESSAGES FROM BIGDOG. ANY FURTHER ATTEMPTS BY BIGDOG TO SEND ME PRIVATES MESSAGES WILL BE REGARDED AT HARRRASSMENT. I WILL CONTACT THE SITE ADMINISTRATOR. THE FAQ SAYS THEY CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS.

sorry to everyone, but i just want it to stop. anything bigdog has to say to me, he can say it in public. he really should be thanking me. if he is who i think he is, it was fairly easy for me, seomeone that doesnt even live that area anymore to connect the dots based on bigdot shooting off his mouth. how about taking some personal responsibility if your that concerned about your internet safety. you can run all over the globe, but you cant hide.  bye pghpat

Well you could always 'delete' them, nothing says you have to read them.  Or if they are really 'threatening', forward them to the moderators & request action.

PghPat has the option of ignoring PM's, disallowing PM's, or accepting them.  As you stated, also just NOT OPENING THEM...and deleting them.. (I use all the above features,  Disallow, Ignore, etc). Assuming her/his wishes are to Ignore PM's from Bigdog at all seem's questionable to begin with. PghPat is expending an awful lot of energy and focus in here, on somebody she say's she "wishes to ignore"..

What I find awkward is the fact that since PghPat joined recently, EVERY post has fixated on Bigdog.  Did PghPat join Karaoke Scene for singing, and karaoke related activity ?  or just to antagonize Bigdog ?  The ruminating is quite babyish.

Bigdog,  is this one of the ex-wives ?   LMAO

im forced to spend a lot energh. every time i post a message i get a pm from bigdog with a thinly veiled thread with terms of legal action and search warrants. thats harrassment to me. if he has seomthing to say to me, say it public. the thing is, if he would have just let it alone, i probably wouldnt have done much of anything. hes the one that drawing all the attention to himself. but now i have to know for sure. although i say i live in pittsburgh, im not really that close to the city and have moved from where i used to hang out for karaoke. but i still get back on family business from time to time. so it looks like next week im going to have to jump on the turnpike and check out some of old karaoke places. i was enjoying reading the messages as a guest here but that all changed the first time i posted a message. i enoyed all the posts that would help me be a better kj. go and check my first message i posted. about bigdogs exs, i had heard some things that i didnt want to believe, but my current experience is beginning to change my mind. bye pghpat

First post from PghPat

Quote:
"its really strange how this topic started as one thing and now your talking about something else. i see that bigdog can really get the talk going.  i think i might
knoww who he is."

Second Post

Quote:
"bigdog was pretty quick -maybe a little too quick - sending me a pribvate message htat he's not from pittsburg, but niether am i, im from pittsburgh. the h
maekes all the difference. so since he says hes not from pgh, any of my comments will be about someone that remeinds me of bigdog. and ive heard a lot"

Third Post

Quote:
"when i read all the bits toegether from all opther messages, thinsgs added up to something, but itsnot like i was trying to find out who bigdog is.,it just sorta

happened. but he says hes not from pittsburgh. but since bigdog decribed his gear in detail, it should be pretty easy to go to a show the guy im thinking of
and see if his gear matches bigdogs."

Pat,  It seems to me that whether you do, or do not actually know who Bigdog is,  he doesn't want you targeting him in the room. It appears that his first PM to you was civil.. He stated he's not from Pittsburgh.  That doesn't appear to be a threat.. It also appears that you just don't want to back down, EVERY post has made at least one or more references to "big dog", yet very little to your own interest in Karaoke in comparison.. Is there any reason you feel compelled to expose a person from this room ?  Or is this a personal matter that really doesn't belong in the room ? Either way, this seems to be your own intent, nothing that actually benefit's Karaoke Scene, or does it ?  I know a few things about certain people too,  but some things DO NOT belong in a public world visible forum.  It appears that Bigdog has told you you are incorrect regarding his identity, but for some reason you are still leaning into him quite heavily. Is it possible what he's saying to you is "leave me alone" ? While I know Bigdog is perfectly capable of getting things going, I've only seen him directly target any individual "defensively", I've not seen him single out any one particular person by room nickname except when an accusation was made to denigrate him personally. He tries to make certain points without directly attacking any one person.  Whether people like the points or not, well that's a whole different story, but of course they also have the option of ignoring him...

I'm honestly trying to be impartial in my observation regarding this.. Only evidence I've seen, is that you ARE obsessed with Bigdog.

I'd have Private Messaged this to you, but you wish for all dialogue to take place within the room.  I don't wish to be accused of harassing you.

JMO..

if he would have pm me and said, yes im from pittsburgh but pleasse dont post any thing on this board about me, that would been fine and i could respect that. but instead he denies hes from pgh and tries to intiminate me with threats if i say anything, and i wont be intiminated by him. if you think hes pm s was civil, i guess its a matter of opinion, it was threatning to me.  i want to participate here which was my reason for posting, but i feel i have to spend all my time now defend myself. just trying to type this takes so much my time because my twofinger typing is soo bad. he has made this a much bigger issue than it has to be. i dont see why i have to suffer now because he has such a big mouth. bye pghpat

You don't need to feel intimidated by anyone.  You have the ignore option.  In turn, since you wish for him to ignore you, you should ignore him (in my opinion)..I'm not sure this belong's in a general discussion room.  It's of a personal nature.

My final post regarding this.

I, PMed that I am not from Pittsburgh.  So let it go and take that as my answer.  Just because it's not the answer you hoped for or expected.   Your badgering and complaining and constant crys of harrassment are annoying the entire forum.   So drive, fly or run to your nearest KJ, sing two songs and call me in the morning.   Swallow your case of mistaken identity, and move on to more productive topics.   I'm ignoring all of your posts and any more of your PMs.   If you post my "name" in here again, I will consider it harrassment.

You have every right to enjoy and continue to participate in this forum.  Use it to give and recieve information about karaoke, as do I.   Personal attacks made toward you or anyone else, would be viewed in the same manner.

Now I know how Princess Di felt.

My humble apologies to the entire forum.     :worship:

I have had people literally yell at me for not being careful enough on the internet. I mean, I don't go into chatrooms and say "here's my phone number and address" or anything like that.... But, places like here on KS?  There are a few here who have had my home addy & even my work addy, for purposes of mailing me things. I've even posted a pic of my Bronco here, good lord... it's not a hard one to spot in a small town like Canby.

But I don't over worry about it. As someone mentioned in a prior post, you can get stalked by someone you meet at work, in a store, at the bar..... And in my opinion, THAT is more likely to happen than someone from the net stalking you.

Pretty much everyone here knows my real name, and my small hometown is listed here.... And, I guess I would not be so hard to find- since it IS a small town, and my name is VERY uncommon, and I constantly babble about the local karaoke place I sing at. But.... I just don't worry about it. I don't think it would happen. #1... Who in the heck would want to stalk ME? (I'm scary...)  :D #2... I don't live alone. I have a husband, and two grown sons, and a very big dog who would LOVE to take a bite of someone's arse if they threatened me. (ask Odie.... he met my dog last time he was here... haha) Sorry Odie, Lonnie told me that he freaked out a bit when you walked out on the patio... shoulda told you ahead of time that he was out there.  :(  But I'm rarely even home alone, and I worry more about the illegal aliens working the fields around my property, and the construction workers working across the road who like to catcall when you walk to the mailbox... than I would ever worry about anyone here.

Anyways.... If I were a single female, living alone.... I don't think I'd be so free in all that stuff on here. But I'm not, so I don't need to be so careful.

Okay, don't freak me out there Ollie......

To the left of my home is a field of none other than.... cucumbers. (hmmm... don't think they're the pickling kind, but close enough...)

Martians watch ME all the time. That doesn't scare me. I'm curious to have them come forward some day, I'm sure they are far more technologically advanced than us humans... can you imagine what kind of music electronics THEY manufacture? I wanna get a Venus 001 Mixer, or something of the sort...  LMAO

(yes, as a matter of fact, I DID have a late night, and I AM still groggy)

To be honest I think that is pushing the bounderies of what is considered safe online regardless of who you are or how big your dog is.

My personal details and privacy has certaily spilled over to apoint of no return due to the nature of my work so I have to be careful what people know about me as a little could leed to a lot. It's the same for a lot of internet users....you don't need much to find out a lot and what isn't already out there can often be obtained by other means with a little know how.

This is not something to be blase about. Like I've already said the biggest security risk to your own security is not your computer, the internet or the software you use but you.
