Is this some sort've normal genetic trait in the Toronto area ?
Is EVERYTHING bigger there ? For a range that is supposedly a little lower than the American Rockies.. There is a certain appeal to the layout of the Canadian Rockies...
Which one of those two peaks is the Fairmont on ?

Sorry it seemed funny, I was dead serious about you, Girl.
Getting back to horses....Anyone know how to tame this beast?....I've been easing out 2-3 AM under the full moon to work with him last few days...He is calm in the moon light, but super spooky and balks in daylight....Spooks if a leaf blows....I mean really spooks...He's dangerous then to himself and me, but at night under the moon, he hooks up with me and is very relaxed, affectionate and real easy to handle....I'm wondering if he has eye trouble and might be almost blind in daylight....Anyone ever deal with this?
Like he is, he makes a great companion when I go outside in the middle of the night and need someone to talk to...He'll ease up and droop his head on my shoulder and lean on me and let me blab away at him...But come daylight, I can't even approach him.

Keith, the first time I went horseback riding, I was 12 and of course, they put me on one of the oldest, meanest horses. Half way through the trail, my friend shouts to me--"by the way, your horse kicks other horses!" I found out later that it was due to his age and blindness was setting in, so the horse was nervous around other horses. I'm sure there are other reasons as well, be it age, personality, ect. I don't know if this pertains to your situation or not, maybe he's just more calm and at ease during the night. He's a beautiful horse though.

High-strung, put a sheep in his stable... Isn't that what they do with race horses ?
I'd say move Robbie out there, but the poor horse would end up starving...

You know, Keith...I think we have slightly different versions of the same problem...
...too many BEAUTIFUL women, and not enough time to romance 'em all!!
But...what a GLORIOUS problem to have!!! :dancin: :oh yeah:

Pinkrose, the first time you were on a horse, they put you on a neurotic one too ?
What's with these sadistic instructors... They seem to enjoy watching a person's fear upset the horse, and start a wild ride with a pathetically scared person on the horse that hasn't a clue what's going on when the thing starts cantering with a kid hanging upside down clinging to life :( Happened to me too when I was 8 or 9

PinkRose,
Yep, he just might have an eye problem...I'll get out there late tonight and work with him some more then get the vet out here to check him out.
Thanks, he seems pretty to most girls, not just you...It must be his color combination....He's got creme and chocolate going on...Maybe he reminds girls of delicate fluffy pastery ...I'm hoping to get him busted soon so a gal can ride him.

I know--crazy! You think maybe it was because I was a smaller, inexperienced rider? Luckily, I have a calmer demeanor that seemed to go well with the horse, so it all worked out for my backside!

Man, I'm just a country boy...I ain't used to seeing all these gals from Cape Cod and Boston....Makes me wonder if they would settle for a guy like me who smells like fish bait and horses....Heck, I wouldn't know which fork to use or what wine goes with catfish or ribeye....I just eat...If it tastes good, I tip the cook or take her home.
So you are from Boston?....Do you mind if I dream about far away places tonight?
I wonder how you look in jeans and cowboy boots...That red hair all messed up from the wind and you trying to wipe worm dirt off your hands on your jeans while fishing......Yeah, I'll dream a little tonight.

Or that old, cranky horse kicking and bucking, while attempting to fling me into the side of another horse, who by the way is in a worse mood than the one I am on!

Keith, we all talk funny up here in the Hartford and Boston area. Ask BIlly, He's heard my crazy accent ! I'll own up to it, you folks in some of the southern locations don't have an accent, it's we yankee's that talk really weird..
