Out've fairness to him, and your relationship with him, send photo's of your backside to us in here... It'll spare you folks headaches.....Hey, It's your comfort I have in mind solely ! i'll ummmmm, "back" that up. i mean we really need to get to the "bottom" of this. i guess what i'm trying to say is i don't want it to "rear" up in the future. after all, we don't want you to get "behind" in your posting! that's it. i'm done..
Steve, if you keep up humor like this, you're just gonna make an "a$$" out of yourself...or end up being the "butt" of a lot of jokes! You're just getting too "cheeky"!! OK. I reached the "tail end" of mine, too...

I've got a neighbor out here in the woods who doesn't drive...He claims he got even with DMV by not renewing his license 8 years ago...
Funny how that was about the time he married his 3rd wife...she has to drive him everywhere!...she also works with him in his pawn shop, so of course he has her under his thumb 24/7....The "no driving" deal is his way of keeping her in his sight day and night.

I find it is easier to be friends with oposite sex. No offense to my gal friends here on karaoke scene, but woman seem to be more back stabbing.
When men get mad at each other they usually just tell the guy or fight it out. Woman tend to tell all their friends first and act like nothing is wrong. If someone has a problem with me I like if they just come to me.
I grew up with 3 brothers. I seem to relate better with men
as friends, not that I don't have girlfriends.
You have to be careful though and lay down the line from the beginning. Most guys want to be your friend for one reason. If they realise they're not getting in your pants and stick around, they are true friends.

Don't bet the bank on that. Women and men act quite similarly in this regard, some people are confrontationalists, other's (male AND female) will backstab the hell out've a person...In the corporate and political arena, males and females can both be miserable %^#($^#...You just don't see certain aspects of male behaviour.. On the surface it always appears that there's more of a cross-gender tolerance... More empathy initially, but that's only superficial... ask people that've been thru a few divorces, about how vicious males and females can both be..It's funny that so many think women are underhanded, and males just "let loose"...
MOST of us don't, we hold it in, and can get VERY vicious ! To let "it out" or duke it out...wind's a person in the slammer....Few have vile outbursts, and than it's all over... This is quite a misconception... I wonder why it is that women fail to see just how underhanded, devious and backstabbing males can be....We aren't all barbaric... .. We do alot of what you females do too, and similarly women also have cat fights....

I've broke bones in both hands "acting out" my intolerance toward those males you described...I don't tolerate men who can't spit it out and disagree with me man to man-who instead play silly back stabbing games with me.

I hate that type of male AND female too Keith, and if I could still drink, I'd be dead or in jail for that reason.. While I agree that street sense in many ways is very effective, we can't punch people out indefineately...I'd love nothing more than to know there are a few who I could make fall from the face of this planet, and noone would witness what happened... Yet realistically, after numerous court dates, broken hands, and arthritis, there are still going to be miserable $^#(@($$%...and nothing we can do about it...
I wish there was a way to deal with certain idiot's who you thought were your friends, only to find out they've gone out've their way to mess you up... I don't want to rot in jail for trying to teach someone a lesson they won't learn...especially if I'm the one that ends up incarcerated, and they just have bandaids for a week..

Sometimes you gotta give it up, you know.....But before you compare me to those "True Friends", you need to consider that some guys are just more patient and generous than others....Till they learn not to be.
...and for those guys who are NEVER attracted to you-you need to watch your back with them cause they are more like your female friends.

In this little town it pays for a few to witness it...They spread the word and then the street clears for you....If you thump a few hard enuff, then the rest leave you alone.
I love ya Steven, but me and you live in different worlds...and those worlds have different rules...I wouldn't survive two minutes in yours....you'd have to post my bail....and down here, I'd have to throw the first punch for you...These ole boys down here will poke you in the butt if you don't first poke them in the face...you have to show them you are a man or they will treat you like a woman.
But don't let that stop you from visiting once the fish start biting. I got you covered.

Exactly... When a person doesn't have much or anything invested in another individual it's easy to be the passing nice guy....Yet when it get's down to human nature...Strike a nerve in most people, and you see a different side... Most you think are your "male friends" you relate to differently..Not as intimate, and seldom do males compete against females, and vice versa socially, there's more tolerance, not manysocial settings where females are a threat .I hate competing against friends...I don't do it... yet males and females alike are known to use one-another in competitive settings
Yeah Keith, we are very different in many ways..I've gotten very soft over the last 20 years, I'm not a tough person, and unlike most, I'm more honest about that to you folks here, than I am to those that see a tougher looking shell.. I don't open up like this to people I deal with in real on a daily basis... I guess I'll have to wear my wallet, and soap around my neck when I visit...Maybe trade in the thong that the horse likes for some Boxer shorts too...I'd hate to return to CT pregnant again

I have more Girl Friends than guy Friends and they are just that "Friends", even though some of them are single I dont sleep with any of them cause I dont want to lose that frendship. If I happen to have a girlfriend at the time they all know about her and respect the fact that I am Faithfull. to some it seems like they try to flirt harder when I have a steady girl.
Most of them are Knockouts and probably be a lot of fun in the bedroom but what happens after that?
I am a major Flirt and with the Solo Act I do at a Local Lounge I get Many women who come see my show and Know Im single, some just want to kind of be just a groupie and do the one night thing out in the parking lot. Id rather have many more friends than Notches on the bedpost.
Yea I do beleive and know for a fact that girls and boys can be just Friends weather you have a significant other or not. crossing the line can be dangerous...very Dangerous...
just my two cents

That's where I lose respect for them and play them against each other....I respect your restraint....Really, I do.

Yeah Yeah, funny, I was saying that to both Linda Evans, and Cheryl Tiegs earlier before they left mad at me for refusing to put out last night

You ain't soft,....you are honest....Wadda ya mean you you ain't tough?...Man, it's hard to be honest with people....When you are honest with someone, you are showing them your tuff side and demanding they be tuff enuff to accept the truth....Being honest with someone shows them how to be honest with themself...and hopefully gives them the conviction to be tuff too.....whimps lie cause they are afraid they might "offend" someone.

Michael, I'll make you a deal, you've been single a relatively short time... If in another 6 months of being single...I'll donate you 1000 points if very attractive female "Friends" don't cross more into the field of "prospects" during a dry spell...

MrOctober will lose his convictions by next summer or I will eat my Stetson....By Thanksgiving he will discover how to play one against the other.

Keith, I'm scared of offending my friends... You think I felt comfortable critiquing Billy, and Lonman, and soon Badsinger over in the other thread ? I'm honest whenever I can be...I'm no Saint... Thing is, I'm really in here for one reason, and that's to be around people that like music, and music related stuff... Some don't believe it, but noones gender online means a thing to me..That's something I deal with in real, and locally. In here, to me everyone is a fellow hobbyest, I MUST make this place fun, that's selfish too....I'm here to get away from real life and get out've my head... There's noone in here that's a threat to me...So as I see it. Why not just be me... I'm not trying to win over anyone by baiting a hook....I got tired of fighting online years back....Seems to always go something like this
"Oh, yeah " ?
Yeah !
In a few cases some wannabe tough America online idiot would ask me my address... thinking that would scare me... Naturally I told him I live in the same location his mother and I moved to last year...As I see it, if the worst thing I need to concern myself over is some disgruntled internet fool showing up at my place with a "Lynch Kappy" Sweatshirt, life's gotten pretty good.
Like you guessed initially Keith, my life hasn't been easy...So I choose to make it fun whenever possible ! Why complicate things... life's tough enough without making a form of entertainment I pay 30 bucks a month for another source of anguish...This is my escape from the real world, I'm not about to make it stressful...

Any of my points you ever want Keith, just let me know, they are yours... I was thinking of taking my points out've the bank here, and investing in some land, but you know how it goes, as soon as you cash in your Karaoke Scene points, The IRS ends up getting a cut....
Quote: Being honest with someone shows them how to be honest with themself
That assumes they are honest to begin with ! Otherwise you won't show them anything..
