Hi, Crystal. I didn't know (or didn't remember) that you lived in my state. I'm south of you, I guess, in Tuscaloosa.
I have my DSL through my phone company, BellSouth. No complains, my net hardly ever goes out and it is super-fast. I am getting satellite tomorrow, though, to replace my cable TV....

You live in Tuscaloosa??? AWESOME!! I live in Winfield in Marion County and I have been to Tuscaloosa many many times!!! I don't think I could survive where you live cause I'm an Auburn fan.

I tell ya....I am not cheap!! Ild like to have broadband..but if you cannot afford it..you cannot help but to be cheap!!
I am surpirsed that you tell me that in Texas..you cannot get dial-up for 8.95 a month.
Tell me my friends in the USA. Do you have timed landline calls there (I forgot to ask this before). This makes a difference to internet costs if you are on dial-up?
Here in Australia all it costs me to dial-up is 20c per time.....and I can stay online forever. It still costs 20c...Some people actually stay online.....and this way they save the 20c call every time.
