SORRY!

I was extremely busy this past week and it looks like I will be busy again... It's all good though!

Anyway - Just wanted to let you know that I goofed and didn't get the new theme up this week. I will be certain to do so this week!

The poll should be posted on Mondays or Sundays. Then everyone has all week to vote. I have left that up to the members to do. If I was to be responsible for it - it may never get done! Ha ha  LOL

Okay and again I apologize!

well, still no change in the theme...I don't know if I should put the poll up or not...?? It is supposed to be "oldies" now for a while but it still says "tribute to late artists". What do you all think we should do?

Suzanne - my post about sort of dying out was based on my lack of paticipation and the number of people actually voting about the time I quit doing it.  I by no means was trying to say anything bad about your doing it (thank you BTW, many times over!) or trying to imply anything negative at all about the polls.

That being said... I'd post a poll to run until Sunday and hope he puts up oldies soon as the current TOTW.  Worst case, set the poll to run until next Sunday (Sunday week) and go with oldies as the theme until then. I hope that makes sense....

But with my racking up my gear to start doing weddings, and potentially my moving to another city (about 120 miles away), and my upcoming wedding (in October) I've been a little busy.  Oh, I forgot the working 7 days a week and sometimes doing doubles totalling 17 hours+ sometimes!

Once things slow down later this year if you like I might be able to give you a break on the TOTW.  Until then, thanks for keeping it alive!

No problem, I know you didn't mean anything bad by it, I was just clarifying.

I hate to waste a great theme like "oldies" on a short week, though. I also hate to think that everyone takes the trouble to vote on a poll and then the theme doesn't get switched.

I don't mind doing the polls whatsoever, I just worry about forgetting to do them
