But of course, you WEREN'T joking this time, were you?? L-O-L ;)

Hi SC,

Well, like I always say - if you can't keep a girl in diamonds and furs, the least you can do is keep her in stitches...okay, so I don't always say that....I think I maybe said once before to Crystal but, hey, it still works here.  :D  Like the lyrics in the song "Faithfully" I subbed recently says:

Circus life,
Under the big top world,
We all need the clowns to make us smile.
:D

Helloooooooo....drum roll please.... :drums: .... - clown here!

Well, gotta get goin'! Looks like our local fog is clearing so I may be able to go singing tonight afterall! This will be 3 nights in a row - that's a first for me but last night was special 'cause I entered the contest for KaraokeFest and I at least qualified to do the semi-final competition in May.  :oh yeah: but I'm not holding out any serious hope of getting past just qualifying. I know there's going to be some really serious competition at the semi-finals (in fact, I chatted briefly with one guy who qualified and said he had been a professional singer most of his life from age 5 - and, man, he was real gooood. Looked and sounded every bit the professional.)  but I guess I held my own (hey, when no one else will hold it for you, what choice do you have, right?  :drums: ba-dum-bum-ching). So I'll give the semi's my best shot and whether I end up competing or not, it'll be fun going to KaraokeFest.

Oh, by the way, Clarence was last spotted by a Kroger's truck driver traveling east on West Virginia's Highway 70. I think that's your neck of the woods, isn't it? Anyway, it seems Clarence and the wheelchair passed the truck doing around 90mph and the highway patrol would like to talk to him about his speed and also about passing that truck driver on the right. But in all fairness it isn't entirely Clarence's fault - those 6 cans of WD-40 I used to lubricate his wheelchair before the unfortunate rolling mishap began out here in California may have been just a tad excessive. But, hey, no one ever said that singing karaoke didn't carry any risks, right?

Have a great weekend!
