My collection are all vcds. No shop sell cdg here and may be in 5 years time dvd karaoke may be the in thing here. English songs are limited but Malay /Indoninsian songs and chinise songs are easy to get. cost only $5 per cd.

Great question here. I said that I get my backings from CD+G's, which is predominately true- but there have been times where I've had to ask people to record a backing for me simply because I couldn't locate a certain song on a CD+G. One of these days, I'm going to try something with an instrumental accompaniment (either clarinet, oboe, or English horn) since those are the instruments I play. Anything else, I have to ask for help.
