WOW! Apparently not only are no hosts aruing with me in regard to the need for a DETAILED receipt directly from the company, including the "letterhead for- at the very least- IRS purposes, but ther has been no explaination to dispute my "conspiracy theory" so far.
Again, up until this point, I have never had a bone to pick with DT- SHOULD I?
Gretchen?

I agree and want a detailed report. My purchases don't even appear on the website even though Gretchen said they do.
1. A detailed receipt is not only necessary, it's essential. 2. Do something with your file naming format, please. Follow the standard format. Right now it's a mish-mosh and very sloppy with extra spaces, backward names, etc.
The standard is: DiscID-Track# - Artist - Song
Thanks.
P.S. I'm still not happy that I got a receipt for my downloads that doesn't show the tracks that I purchased. C'mon now.

Me too (for the 2 disc downloaded set I purchased from DT)... and I originally voiced that months ago.

Are there any places you can buy and download from that follow the standard format? I know the KaraokeVersion and Tricerasoft don't. I just rename them as I download them. Doesn't bother me since I want to make sure they match my naming method anyway. Even the disc ripping programs have to be corrected because there is no standard in the databases they use for lookups.

-Chris I just rename them too but it can be a pain sometimes. Why can't the manufacturers follow a simple standard format??? Is that too much to ask?

I have passed all of your requests over to the IT department. That is all that I can personally do. If I hear back regarding any of these issues I will let you know.

I know that you understand and want to help us but you're stuck in the middle and can only do so much. Anyway, thanks for your support.

Digitrax seems to be falling behind on the New Country releases. What's up with that?

-Chris Or switch to the software I am now using, JustKaraoke. It loads a file, you tell it by switching ID - artist - title until the info is in the correct field. Software does all Compuhost does except media pro or Kamakazi. It even allows you to select what Venue you are in so you can keep a record for each venue. Much cheaper to buy too.

It is trivial to rename as I download. I like my hosting software and I like the naming format I use. No reason to change. -Chris

Are you serious? I tried it once. It looked like it was developed for children. Didn't like the fact that you couldn't customize your screens for both the performer's screen and the kiosk screen with full graphics or whatever you want. Drove me crazy. There was a hap-hazard quasi work around but it wasn't the same. With CH, you can choose to use any background/wallpaper and customize it for your business. I would use Photoshop to make my screens. Anyway, Not saying that JustKaraoke is not good, just that there's NO comparison to CH. I'm surprised that you made the switch from the most professional hosting program you can get. But hey, whatever works for you is all that matters I guess.
