No offense to you guys, but if this guy is touring the USA to raise money for charity, I'd think he'd want to do a little better than Cary, NC, Levitown, Langhorne or Rockledge, PA, Salina ,KS, and Oregon City, OR.
Tampa and LA are a good start.
ANDY, if your primary objective is to raise money, I would think you'd want to stick to the urban/suburban areas of major cities, all of which have tons of karaoke venues to choose from, along with ample media resources. I'm not sure you are going to raise much money going to smaller town gigs. Figure out your itenerary, send a letter to the local media detailing your charity, and you'll likely get a bit of media coverage that will help further your cause and raise more money.
Again, no offense to the smaller town gigs, it just doesn't seem consistent with the OP's objective.
