That's what I've been running since my American DJ laser quit working 3 year ago after 90 days and they wouldn't honor the warranty. I will never by ADJ ever again!

I also run a couple scanners, no controlling, I set the light as to where they go on the floor and let them do their own thing.

This past Friday, I set up my system the way I always do. When I flipped on the lights, my Chauvet Scorpion Storm laser only blinked on for a second then powered back off. I pulled it from the lighting rig and noticed that it was doing this repeatedly. Just power on for a split second then off. Would repeat every 2 seconds or so.

I dropped it in the front seat of my car and resigned myself to finding another laser (the Scorpion Storm model I have is DC'd).

On Saturday night, I decided on a whim to check it again and BAM! it was working again! I put it back on my light rig and it ran perfectly fine all night.

Hoping it stays running because it is one of the few items I decided to NOT buy the extended protection option for from Guitar Center.

I ordered two of these this morning to compliment what I already have -

I am now looking at these two models as potential replacements for the ailing Storm above -

I bought a beautiful light yesterday, called the Dual Gem Pulse by American DJ.
Not a bad price either.
Its like 3 lights in one with a strobe.
Check it out.
