Showtunes!!! And I thought disco was gonna be the biggest challenge.
AllStar - I grew up with five older, sarcastic, brothers. I've learned that a good dig is a true sign of love and affection. You really are a softy are'nt you? Glad to hear I am not your type.

Ok, so now back to the Genre idea...
How does showtunes sound? Does anyone have a better suggestion?
You know, what we could do Mr. Webguru Sir, is on each Monday, put up one of those vote thingys that I have seen and people can vote on whatever Genre they want next and whichever one gets the most votes, is it!
IF it isn't too much work, that is.
Ok, I know how shy y'all are, but please try to share your opinion on this.

nHoH, something else that works if the fishing or golfing doesn't go down with OP
Oh hun, my headache has just gone but will you still take the trash out please?

Ok...so I'm past denial, and on to accepting SHOWTUNES. Just can't find any at this point. Does it HAVE to be either a theme song or a musical track? How about, say 'Jailhouse Now' from 'Oh Brother' (one of the greatest movies of all time).
AllStar - Friends indeed!

A show tune would be refered to as a song from a broadway type of show. Should a movie be directed from a play, or a play be produced from a movie, then any music that was played in the movie/play would be a show tune.
The play CATS, for instance, had a famous show tune, Memories. I don't know if the movie Grease was first or the play, but seeing that it was on Broadway, anything from the well known movie Grease qualifies as a show tune.
