This is an odd conversation. Until now I thought everyone was pretty much on the same page as far as this stuff was concerned. I was under the impression that there were generally accepted social conventions (not to be confused with a Shriner's Convention) covering this. Not so, I guess. I'm not much of a social kisser. I tend to leave that sort of thing for romantic moments. So it's not too much of a surprise that someone like me who has no experience with the "air kiss" also has no experience kissing with his eyes open. I feel some compulsion to assert here that whether you kiss with your eyes open or closed it is probably a good practice to make sure that if you're going to kiss somebody you proceed with your eyes wide open. To do otherwise could be disastrous. When I was growing up in Nebraska a kiss was practically a sign that you were engaged. Many a young guy found himself in church afterwards at the wrong end of his new father-in-law's shotgun. Just a word to the wise. Don't do any "hit and run" kissing in rural Nebraska. Larry
Just from KISSING??!! Oh heaven help me.....how many husbands would I have by now?

I don't mind hugging people or a kiss on the cheek, but I hate
when guys (who are just friends) go for the lips. It is an akward
situation when I turn my head. I don't want to come off snubbish or anything, but
the lips are meant for my bf.

It'll probably be easier to calculate if you think of it in terms of how many alimony checks you could be recieving each month. LOL

I walk around with my mouth open looking for good looking girls in case I wanna kiss them. I feel like it's my job or something. You never know when I might sneek up on you, so watch out!

Be careful Jeff. With your mouth open like that you never know what might fly in while you're out there looking for pretty girls—especially if you're riding a motorcycle. I see an oral tragedy in your future.

If it was Ashley Simpson, make sure she wasn't lip syncing!

Kissing eyes closed my preference. Going in to the kiss with your eyes open is also a good idea.

Then I quit going out with women unless I could verify they were absolutely single. Then my nose grew, then I met my wife, then I quit shaving, then I quit caring...
It's a cycle.

I guess that's probably open to several interpretations. Rather than comment and get this thread closed down I think I'll just sit here awhile, drooling and reflecting on my fantasy.

Maybe I'll start tomorrow.

I should say that I used to kiss with the door or window open, depending on which floor I was on.
I learned how to tell if a women was actually single later. A few weeks after that I met my wife.
