Hi all! I've been out of the game for a while, but looking to buy NEW karaoke again. Where can I download in MP3+G format?

I need a monthly disc for:
Country
Rock/Pop

Would like to stay at about $20 a disc (or approx 14 song download)

Are any of the following recommended for new monthly stuff? Or what do you recommend?
Karaoke Cloud
Zoom

All-Star Karaoke, Karaoke Version, Tricerasoft.

I buy all of my music from these three sources.

Yup, this is pretty much the answer you are going to get from the majority of the people here..

I would skip All Star if the tracks you want are available elswhere...last choice only as -in my opinion - the quality leaves a bit to be desired. Generic at best.

If you are willing to buy and convert discs you would have a lot more higher quality options.

Just a thought.

Actually, still having a hard time nailing down a bunch of new Country karaoke. Country is my main genre. It seems that All Star has not updated since Sept, Karaoke Cloud only has a couple of songs, and all tunes seem to be scattered on TriceraSoft.

Would I be better off buying discs? If so, what do you recommend for new monthly country karaoke?

I am considering ZOOM for Rock/Pop. Is it better or worse than Sunfly?

Thanx again!

You are not going to find any new country on disc, no one is releasing on disc anymore. Well i don't know if allstar still is, but since you can't find what your looking for, it doesn't matter. Changes are it doesn't exist in mp3+g format.

Check icroons.com. If it doesn't come up on there, and it's not on allstar or the cloud, it doesn't exist.

Your options then are

1. try to find a background only track on a service like itunes and make the lyrics yourself with software like kbuilder
2. See if karaokeversion has a request for it in their suggestion section and vote for it to have it made *or if it isn't there yet, submit a suggestion and encourge other people to vote for it*

Incorrect. You will find new country on Sybersound/Party Tyme. Also, though I don't recommend them, Singers Solution, and I believe All Country is still out there too.

You can also find them on overseas brand discs like Zoom, any you CAN still buy these- just not in bulk. One at time.

Plenty of disc sources still available - just a matter of doing the research.

I agree . I'm not thrilled with the quality of All-Star and even worst is Singer's Solution. I like Karaoke Cloud quality. I wish they were putting out more discs. It's hard to find good quality country. If Sound Choice would put out new music I would buy everyone of their disc's. I would even prepay.

Speaking of sources, I haven't heard a peep about digitrax at all.

Are they still around, and have they put out any real quantity of new ( non-recycled) tracks of their own yet? Are they out? Being a disc based host I wouldn't know unless someone posts...

I got an email from them each month with new stuff. Sign up on their site and you'll get them too.

So still active. If putting out NEW tracks, then another source of decent tracks for download hosts.

Digitrax is putting out new track every month although not as many as I am sure we'd all like but I get updates almost weekly through my Compuhost Media Drive. I am sure once the Digitrax/Universal fight is over than we will see more songs being released.

Hi all! Thank you to everyone for their replies... Here is what I did...

I really like the quality of ZOOM... and it was cheaper than Sunfly if I downloaded by album, so that is what I did.

Then, I used TriceraSoft www.karaokedownloads.ca to download the missing holes in my Pop/Rock with a few select Sunfly tracks. I like that the more credits purchased, the cheaper the songs become. This was great news!

I was also able to update my country on TricerSoft too. Most of it is SBI Country, which is cool, I like their selection for Country - and there seems to be monthly updates.

I also downloaded the fall 2014 and January 2015 Karaoke Cloud selections. They had some cool songs not listed on the other sites... And, strangely enough, their graphics look a lot like the old Chartbuster.

Finally, I tapped into Karaoke Version to cherry pick a couple of other tunes not found on the other sites, like the new Black Keys song, Little Red Wagon by Miranda Lambert and a new Little Big Town Song. I also sent a couple of requests for future tunes I'd like to see. :)

All in all... updated my karaoke library with about 200+ new songs. My singers will be excited! Thanx again to everyone!

The Karaoke Version code is 3FOR2 and it's good for the month of Feb. Tricerasoft is also running a special through the 21st. They've dropped the price of the 25 credit pack from $40 to $35.
