					| I assume that most of us like to sing from time to time, whether at your own show or someone else's..
Obviously the songs I choose to sing are those I like and/or feel I can do a decent job with.

So, my question is... What songs do you like to sing? How about your top 5 favorites?

 I'll kick it off with:

Dwight Yoakam - I Sang Dixie
Ed Bruce - My First Taste Of Texas
Merle Haggard - That's The Way Love Goes
Boxcar Willie - Girl On The Billboard
 Coasters - Searchin'

Those are my top 5 for this week... No doubt next week it would be a completely different list.

 Next??

					| My top songs that people ask me to sing are a parody of the "c is for cookie" song where I change the words to "b is for boobies" and adlib the middle naration part - and "Hang on Sloopy" by the mccoy's. I also used to sing, Amanda by Boston, I just called to say I love you by Stevie Wonder, and Amanda by don williams but I don't sing those anymore because the girl I sang them for won't talk to me anymore.. Altho I suppose I could change the lyrics to the don williams song to
"Amanda, bane of my life. Why did fate make you a (@$%!) teasing wife" *shrug*

Other than that, i don't really have any favorite songs. My favorite style is pretty much anything from the 60's including a boatload of stuff that I wish I could sing, but never made it to karaoke.

all of them are fun to do. and usually will get the dancers up. except for big balls usually surprised faces by the younger kids that have never heard it.

					| That depends on where I am. My Friday night show is a bit of a more mellow crowd. For them my top five are
 1. Is This Love - Whitesnake
 2. Bed Of Roses - Bon Jovi
 3. Scenes From An Italian Restaurant - Billy Joel
 4. Ain't That a Kick in the Head - Dean Martin
 5. Going To California - Led-Zeppelin

Now when I do my Saturday fill-in, or just go to hang out:

 Turbo Lover - Judas Priest
 No More Tears - Ozzy
War Pigs - Black Sabbath (Found the best version I have ever heard from Karaoke Version)
Bed Of Roses - Bon Jovi (Everyone likes that song. )
 Rooster - Alice In Chains

I sing a ton of other songs, besides those.

					| I don't know if I have a top five, because I am always trying new things, but if I had to choose five, I'd probably pick :
Bring Me To Life by Evanescence
Tell It To My Heart by Taylor Dayne
 Crazy on You by Heart
I'm Looking for a New Love by Jody Watley
Orange Colored Sky by Natalie Cole

Funny thing is, I probably haven't done more than 2 of these songs in the last six months.
