Honestly hit up your local Guitar Center.
They have been clearing out their karaoke players for sometime now. If you really want a player at a good price they carry the JVC single and triple. If you local store does not have one as them to check the computer and have one shipped in from another store for you.

Acesonic DGX-105 Single Tray Rack-mountable DVD/ VCD/ CDG/ MP4/ WMA/ Karaoke Player is the most powerful DVD karaoke player in the market today. $129.00 at Ace Karaoke.
As for Ace's 5 disc player it really is good, I tested the prototype unit. You can play disc's while loading one.
"Changing Discs During Disc Play - 1 Disc Can Be Playing While Changing 4 Discs "
Also check Sam Ash for RSQ/JVC triple trays. Saw one at the local store here in Ontario.
Good LUCK

Our guitar Center doesn't have diddly. I have one about 20 min. from where I live, so I'm there a lot. But thanks for the idea.

I read that this player has a long delay because of having 5 trays. You didn't have this problem with it?
I was wondering if this brand (Acesonic) was any good because I've been running acrossed it - I'm going to have to take a closer look at their single tray - thanks
Flipper- They lied to you at acekaraoke, if they had any refurbished triple trays left they are gone now - boo hoo. I bet people buy those up fast - I just got there to late. I'm going to try Sam Ash now.

I used the 5 disc player from Ace and had to return it. The tray stuck in out position during a gig and it would not go back in. Thank god it was towards the end of the night and I was able to cut the night short without problem. My current player is their single tray unit. I have two of them just in case. So far they are ok but they do have their quirks. I am about to switch to computer based but that will take me some time to do it. So, my opinion on Acesonic is pretty neutral.

Strange yesterday they had 8 on ebay with 4 days left with the bidding process and no buy it now feature. The guy I spoke with guided me right to the page they were on. Maybe they sold them all but that seems strange when the bidding was not to end for 4 more days.
As for change on the fly on the 5 disc player.....that info came from one of 2 tech guys on staff at Ace Karaoke. I have never used the player so I dont know. Seems like they would know their own private label player but perhaps he misunderstood me. One thing I found with them is you can ask 3 different guys there and get three different answers. That is why I asked for the Tech Dept.
Try these links: Interesting to note that the first link is an Ace Karaoke refurbished unit (the gold one)

hahaha
I've been watching the 2nd one you posted - I'm a little unsure on the seller.
I asked him the model # and about shipping and he couldn't give me a straight answer on either. I can tell by the picture it is a MV-333, but he didn't know it.
The 3rd one is a new listing - it seems like a more reliable seller. I am tempted to wait and bid on that one.
Thank you for doing the leg work I really appreciate your help.
The gold player gives me the creeps

Babs......... I know NOTHING about this brand, but if you're just wanting a cheap one for stand by use, this is on sale for $99:
Scroll down this main page, the RJ4200...... and again, I don't know a thing about this brand, it may be pure junk. But, maybe not. This is where I get my cdg's and I thought of you when I saw these ads last night.

(I'm trying to browse that site all I can when hubby's home and do the "Oh, look, they have GIFT CARDS now"...... so maybe he'll get the hint and get me that for my birthday) :hi5: LMAO

I'd be skeptical of a seller too that can't give you a shipping price on an item he's not sure of. Either he's not willing to take the time to help a prospective customer of his, or he's really busy, but either way... I suppose at least he got back LOL .. Depending on his history *and I haven't clicked the descriptions yet in Flippers post regarding the players mentioned*, I'd be inclined to think MOST would be able to give you a VERY close guestimation at least on S&H, or post a chart so you can calculate an item they've often sold numerous like items of size and weight-wise in the past. If he doesn't list Shipping and Handling costs to you, yet won't give you a good idea upon your inquiry as to what S&H will run you, that's a big red flag ! Not smart to bid ! IMHO

No problem - bidding is over and it went over my max. bid.
I'm glad because I was leary of the seller.
Now I can play the ebay game all
over again.

I just wanted to thank everyone. I was able to snag a great player
on ebay for a good price.
If anyone ever uses one of those NEO players I'd love to know if they're
any good. I think next time I will be out of luck because most of those vintage players will be gone.

I had the new RSQ E-500 briefly. The particular model I bought had a reading problem, but that was just because I got a bad one. Aside from that, it takes an incredibly long time to read CD+Gs from the moment you load them, because they are also DVD readers. I am thinking seriously of going all PC.
