I've been doing some reading here and THANK GOD! I was just about to hit the "Buy Now" button on a 'VocoPro DVG-555K' since I couldn't seem to find much else that plays multipul disk and isn't $400.00+.

Well I did a little more searching and then next option was the 'Acesonic DGX-500E' but here again I've only found mixed feedback.

I want to find a player thats plays at least 3 disks, has 2 mic inputs (adj volume levels for each), plays CD+G (and more formats if it's out there), and I hope it's under or around $300.00. It doesn't have to be for pro use, just something that friends and family can do at parties thats not a complete piece.

Now after reading the forums I'm impressed by the knowledge of the people on here and felt what better place to ask.

PLEASE help me if you can!

JVC 303 or the RSQ 333....it is the industry standard for pro karaoke...3 mic imputs with FX (echo kinda reverb), multiplex, 3 disc changer...all the bells and whistles (just don't lose your remote, all the cool functions are on there but not on the player itself!!).

They run $299.99 on the high end. I've seen them on e-bay for as low as $220.

BUY THIS PLAYER, YOU WON'T BE SORRY!!

i know the acesonic hasn't had the best reviews, BUT, i paid under 200 for it, it has 5 trays(change disks while still playing), feature controls on the front panel-not just the remote, and it plays almost any format, mp3,cdg,dvd,etc. ive had mine over a year, no problem, (keeping my fingers crossed)  it is NOT the fastest player, but hey, for HOME use, which is all i use it for, its fine. if you can't find it for around 180,
then move on, i would just spend more on a better machine.

Ditto on the JVC

My first unit I purchased 8 years ago is still in use. For 5yrs I used it 4-5 nights a week with no failures. Cleaned and aligned the lens occasionally but never a breakdown...ever!  I retired it 3 years ago but still use it at home in my studio.

You can't beat it for performance and reliability for the price.
