Welp yall.....after all the drama, this whole thing pretty much ended with a wimper.

She showed up to my place, told me she missed me, loved me, and was sorry, and despite all of the crazy stuff I had prepared to say, that was enough for me and I just let it go.

The two of us are at very different places in our lives and she is scared to death of getting hurt, but I figure I am willing to see what happens. No one ever earned anything worthwhile without having a little patience, right??

Well either way, thanks for all of the help, it really helped my sanity through this whole thing. Gotta love the karaoke forums!!

Sounds like being patient paid off.  She seems to have problems believing that all men aren't out to hurt her.  She's sure not the first person to have a fear like that. But she was very honest with you -- it just took kind of a long time for her to get there.  Good luck to both of you!
